How Often Do You Question God's Plan For Your Life???

Sometimes when things are not going exactly the way I want them to I begin to question God's Plan for me. Now, I understand that it should not be so, but I can't seem to help it sometimes. Like The Apostle Paul said, 'the things I don't want to do, I do, and the things I want to do, I don't. Do you find yourself ever questioning the Great One? How do you resolve and get back on track? knowing that because your life is a little out of whack does not mean He does not love you?

I am guilty of this. I have days when I wonder what it is all about. I just pray and ask for guidance and acceptance. I know it is not right so I always ask for forgiveness. We are just mortal man and there is no way to question these things when we are confused. Ask and he shall hear. Find a path and go for it, it may be the wrong path and you may be slapped down a few times. But in time you will find your way. Have patience and keep the faith.

Florencia, just this past week I was going through one of those why me Lord periods. At night I got on my bed and said Lord why? Me and You have got to get this settled before I go to sleep this night. So I talked and talked and qouted scriptures to the Lord. For He said that If a man lacks knowledge let him ask for it and I'll give it to him unupbraidingly. And also let you and I reason together. Then I said Lord the wicked flee when no one's chasing him but the righteous are bold as a lion. So I'm not running away at all. Then when I got quiet He quietly said, "Just wait. Just wait and you'll see." But Lord; "Just wait and you'll see." And the next thing I told Him was just some of the things that I wanted to see. And in the moring I saw them. Hallelelujah. Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning!.

I lack that closeness with Him. I never think of reasoning with Him, just questioning why I am certain places sometimes. But I do need to develop that closeness, that un-doubting understanding that I am His child and He would never leave me. Thanks for reminding me that He does want me to speak boldly to Him!

Hi, There are times that I asked God what are his plans for me, but those were the times when I feel lost, scared and don't know what to do or to decide. I ask for His guidance for me to make the decision and take the right path. There was a time when I felt so down and alone that I asked Him if I deserved to feel that way and if I was a bad person or what have I done in my past to deserve the bad things that were happening to me. But then I realized those were just trials to make me a stronger and better person and for me to appreciate what I have. God is so amazing. And I'm very thankful to Him for everything.

I don't care. According to Buddha (any one of ALL the Buddhas), G*d's command to us is given without respect for the conditions of the world around us; so we are to hear that & -to keep whatever it is in the background for something to do when we can fully get around to it. But we are to take care of the present matter (whatever it is) first---trying to take care of them in such a way as to make us better-able to take care of G*d's command, but only as much as we're able. My favorite Buddha simplified it as two main guidelines: "Love G*d with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself." Loving G*d, His wishes will always be at the top of your list (when you're in a wish-fulfilling mood); and loving your neighbor, you'll always understand where they're coming-from and what their goals are.
