Mine sleeps on a Baltimore Ravens mousepad that my husband made out of plastic canvas. Not my team though but I still use it. He made me one with the word 'ebay' on it (he changed a pattern a bit to make it just for me) and unfortunately that mousie sleeping place kicked the bucket about 2 years ago.

I managed to find the pictures of have of the mousepad and loaded them into my profile. One is a really bad quality photo (but you can get the idea) and the other one is a better photo but I wasn't trying to take one of the mousepad but it got in the photo LOL And my sweet hubby did this for me :-)

hi Connie, I don't use a pad, my main pc is laptop, and use a micro wireless mouse which works on the area next to my touchpad. When its time for bed it turns off automatically when I shut down, and tucks into a neat sliding case on the lid......he he very cool, always wakes up alert and never needs feeding except once a year a tiny watch battery !!!

thanks sweety, when you do upgrade remember ( I know this has been said many times before ) to buy the best you can afford, and go for a well known manufacturer, like Sony or Dell, we have three Dell laptops all over 5 yrs old, this one and it and my wife's one are our main machines.....with the new O/S's try and get max memory...at 1Gb.....take care.

A Dell laptop. I hadn't thought of it. I have a Dell PC and it HATES my microsoft red ball mouse. This comp has so many problems. You really think a Dell laptop wouldn't have all the problems too? Yes I know nothing of laptops. I will though keep them in mind when I do upgrade. Thank You for the even better advice.

That is cool. At least it doesn't "eat" batteries to often. That could get expensive. I hope someday to be lucky enough to get a laptop. I would love a mouse like that. Thank You for replying. You get a + too.

I have not used a mouse pad for a long while now. I used to use several different ones just to have a change now and then, but I bought an optical mouse and find it much easier to use. I still have a collection of mouse pads, but no real use for them.

Mouse pads could be donated to a school or church. That is if ya really don't want them.
I miss my optical mouse. It never asked for a mouse pad or snack. Just wanted to be cleaned every week. LOL

Since getting my optical mouse a few years back I don't bother with a mouse mat anymore, although I do use either an old envelope or a just a piece of A4 paper as the mouse doesn't' seem to like just the plain keyboard shelf. I have seen a few mats that I really and have been tempted but it would be a bit of a waste of money as there really isn't enough room for one on the keyboard shelf (custom made).

Mine is a doggie and a kitty with a green background color one, it is a freebie by my computer supplier when I purchased my computer about 2 years ago, so it is two and a half years old now, it is very old, isn't it? but I like it very much, I had got very used to it and it is still working well now, so I would use it as long as I can.

I love my mousepad at work. It was given to me by Travelocity so it has a roaming gnome on it. But the best feature is that it has a space to slip a 5X7 photo into it so I always have pictures of my family in it and swap it out for a new one every few months.

I used to have a maroon coloured mouse pad when I was using a ball mouse. Once I got an optical one for me, I checked the use of that pad.
Now I dont use any pad, instead, I use my mouse over my Table cloth only!!

Well hi Connie...
What a intresting discussions yours is.
Well in the age of optical mouse people hardly uses a mouse pad, dont they?
Well through mouse pads, a persons persnality is known.
I use a Da Vinci Code theme mouse pad, because I loved The Da Vinci Code of Dan Brown, Both Book and Movie.
That was my crush at that time. But know I'm thinking of buying a mouse of Harry-Potter theme.
