LIFE, LIFE, and LIFE

Sometimes in life, we are surprised by the saddened changes that things could possibly be happening, before we can imagine things, is in front of us already making us unprepared without us even knowing how, why, and how.but i just realize that it is the amount of struggles available in store for me.its like watching movies that you dont know what scenario comes next.but thank god i am sorrounded by a lot of wonderful people who stays beside me thru thick and thin.coz i dont know if how i am going to go this far without them and be able to reach up to where i am now. When i look back i cant help myself but smile coz i consider myself as survivor.Besides this is life and its a matter of choice if you want to be happy if ever my time comes and my candles wont burn anymore, at least i have made the right choice and i was able to pick up the pieces and bring back to shape.Because i have learned that thru sufferings, pains, and joy god is still visible and within reach, believe me GOD is just a prayer away..

Life is indeed full of struggles that tends to choke us immeasurably. It is how we beat it all and the people we love that make us where we are now. No matter how you like your life to be, problems seems to sprout like mushrooms everywhere. I agree with you 100% about praying. It gave us the added strenght to move on. I wish you to continue your unending faith to God. God is really everything. God bless you.

Hi, yes this is true that we can suddently be surprised by saddened changes, we never know what in life to expect and sometimes it can be for the better and sometimes for the worse we just don't know but we had best prepare ourselves. That is great that you are a survivor, yes it is the choices we make in our life and the love that we show to each other. yes I understand the Lord is always there.

i am happy to know that you've gone up from your struggles. that's a nice story to share... inspiring! we all have our own stories to tell.. all of us had gone through the down moments in our lives. the ups might be so few in numbers while the downs are so visible in our lives. and you are right, we are lucky to have those people who stick with us and uplifts our spirits... people who allow us to borrow strenghts from them and give us inspiration to go on in life. such people are hard to find and that's why we are so lucky to have them in our lives. there will be more challenges to go through in the future. the good thing is we are strong enough to face all challenges and get back in track.

Yes life is compose of ups and downs, but wat is important is we know how to handle them and to give importance the people around us who truly helped us a lot to go through those hard times. And surely theres a lot of challenges ahead of us.

Indeed, life is full of surprises. As you say, we are even unprepared of what is already in front of us. Well, perhaps, in one way or another, that's what makes life interesting despite of the struggles and hardships it take us through. SOmehow, that's what makes life so intruiging because there are a lot of things we don't understand and we seek those things even if it's already beyond our knowledge. Life without people won't be considered life too. The very moment God created Adam, He then created Eve for He saw how sad man could be without having someone else to be there for him. Yes, we look up at God and pray everytime we need help. But PEOPLE are important because God use other people as His instruments in your life. That's why we all must be thankful for everything that we have. Our life might not be as perfect as we want it to be, but somehow, other people make our life worthwhile.:)

Yeah, exactly. SO no matter what life brings us through, we have to keep going, and not gonna give up. We only have one life. And we have to use it to the fullest no matter how we find it cruel. THere's still a lot of rooms for people to change their lives into a better one. Even me, i don't have a perfect life and I have a lot of mistakes, regrets in the past. But I never give up. SOmehow, I love my life and no one could ever take it back except God. :) Thanks also friend for marking me as your best response! GOdbless! :)

What would life be if it didn't contain surprises? It's the very element of surprise and the unknown that makes life worth living. Not the bad parts of course, but if you can get around the bad parts, you will find the good and the satisfaction that you did the right thing at the time. Life is one big lesson and some of those lessons are sprung upon you, testing your intelligence and faith. Get through those, and you will have a very fulfilling and happy life. Brightest Blessings.

yes you have to believe that. things are always happening to people and there is much pain and suffering going around but you just have to get out of bed and start your day and be thankful that you are able to do that. friends and family are an important part of our lives.

Life indeed is a mysterious one...there are things happened at our wildest imagination, it happen in a flick of a second and it amazed us.At times you could be able to asked yourself why do things happened this way, have i done something wrong, have i hurt anybody why i have to be forsaken. But it was on your falling moments you could be able to know who your friends are, who stick to you through thick and thin and like you i was also thankful for the persons around me whom i considered real friends for life who help me pick up the mesh and showed to me how wonderful life is.And with the constant guidance and grace of our Almighty God who never leave me mostly in times i needed someone to cry with, he reaches out his hands and help me manage my life for the better.I also believe in the power of prayer, the miracle it brings to my life.I was once down and rise up again because GOD is there always ready to help me and make me realize that he never leave on my side but though carry me at times i needed him most.:D

i want to say something to you and i believe if you can belive what i say you you will do better it goes like this: if someone loves you whomso ever he or she may be his or her happiness lies in your happiness so by being happy you are actually making someone happy so you got to belive that you can give others what they want because the feeling of giving someone is the greatest and if something is better then this that is fogotting that youhave given someone something

That is true that if we dont have faith in God, we will be left behind wondering where we are, why we are there..So if we do not mix Faith in God and flexibility, we will be left alone in the world.. Sometimes really i cant cope up with changes..But i have to move on to be able to live..

in january of 2004, i was diagnosed with ALS/ Lou Gehrig's Disease. i was always very active, and I had a twenty-year career in travel industry sales. In 1997, I started a new career teaching in NYC's Spanish Harlem. I was really advancing in education, had tenure and a good future ahead of me. In early 2003, I was changing the bulletin board outside my classroom, lost my balance, and fell off the chair I was standing on. I started tripping and falling constantly. By June, coming out of art class, I took a huge spill on the sidewalk, causing my hand to be severely injured, though miraculously nothing was broken. That summer i was home on summer vacation and very grateful that i chose not to teach summer school that year, because i was incredibly fatigued and had trouble breathing. After my regular workouts at the gym became exhausting and I would often come home and fall asleep. I chalked it up to menopause, being 48 years old. As a foreign language teacher, I was very conscious of my speech and began to notice upon my return to school in September that my tongue would get all tied up when I tried to pronounce certain words and that by the eighth period, my mouth got so tired I could barely talk. I had trouble chewing and swallowing and would often choke on solid food and water. By October, my voice acquired an ugly nasal twang, and I began to sound drunk. And I was still tripping and falling. Fast forward to January, 2004. After numerous doctor visits and tests, I was finally diagnosed by a neuromuscular specialist --ALS Average life expectancy -- 2-5 years after onset of symptoms. It is now 2007 and I am in a wheelchair and can't speak at all. I can only drink thick liquids and pureed foods. I require 24/7 care from an aide. My independence has been robbed... i have a blog at http://ferncohen.blogspot.com which tells of my daily struggles. My whole life has changed.
