i do. i don't want to be bothered by the pain when there's so much work to be done. after all, it's just paracetamol. what harm could there be?

Taking pain killers to relieve headaches and other kinds of pains is perfectly fine if you do not suffer from it very often. i believe it is not so good if you have to take painkillers almost every day - or maybe several times a day. It is not good for your body, and you will need more and more as time goes by to relieve your pain. If in constant pain I understand the necessity for painkillers, but one should also try some other forms of relief. Like acupunkture, heat treatment, relaxation, physioteraphy, meditation, yoga etc.

i suspect my headche stems from a failing eyesight already. i've suspected as much for months now but i still keep on postponing my trip to the eye doctor because, honestly, i don't like to wear eyeglasses. so, for as long as paracetamol works for me, maybe, i'll stick with the therapy for now. and maybe a little massage on the side...

I agree, glasses is a pain! If you think your eyes are the problem I would check it out anyways. maybe you could get lenses? :-)

I take tylenol (or sometimes ibuprofin) for headaches, if they're persistent.. or if they are getting worse, and I can tell they're going to be around a while. More and more lately, my headaches have caused me to be physically ill. So I'd like to nip them in the bud if possible.

Hi Honey. I'm sure if it's not too often then that's ok. I will take pain relieve straight away if I have a buzy day and I know the headache is going to get worse, otherwise I will put it off until I really have to give in. If it is evening then I will try going to bed in the hopes that I am tired and it will go by morning.

sometimes, getting some sleep works for me, too. maybe, it's just stress, right?

i actually dont. i'm stubborn and i wont take medication unless it is absolutley imparitive. My fiance like to make sure that i am taken care of so when he knows im hurting he makes sure he does whatever it takes to make me better even if that means guilting me or bugging me into taking medicine.
