Describe Marriage In One Word

One word I would use to discuss marriage would be friendship. I know there is alot more to a marriage than this but I think if you are friends with your spouse you stand a good chance of staying together. You need to be friends.

I would have to say "TRUST" you have to have trust for any relationship to work especially marriage

for me marriage is summed up in one word that is, partnership. I think marriage is a most potent partnership and one, if right, that can change the world

I would have come up with a lot of the words that everyone else had already said, so I thought I could add a new one that no one had used. "Compromise." A lot of times, marriage is about having two opinions, two options, and two ways of doing things. Ofter times, we are made to compromise with one another to get things done and to make sure that everything happens smoothly.

To my mind, there is one thing which will immediately crop up, 'family'. Whenever a couple takes their stance at marriage, it will always be in order to have a family of their own.

marriage means committment,responsibility,adjusting,loving,sharing....ther's so much its an never end journey to me

the word I would choose would have to be COMMUNICATION. You can't have a long marriage without that.

Only one word always comes to my mind when I think of marriage - Harmony. I really dont know why, but I always feel that married life should be harmonious. I am married for 17 years now.

I would have to say "Interesting" there is never a dull moment when you are married and have kids. You learn something new about yourself every day.

MARRAIGE is an EXPERIENCE which is felt deep in the heart...it could be good or bad, but it is an experience that is worth taking in life!

for me "respect". respect should be adopt to couple to avoid misunderstanding and love will prevail to both of them.
