My first son didn't cause us any problems with regards sleeping. We found that taking my daughter out for a 15-20 minute drive got her to sleep. Our second son was born just nearly 3 weeks ago at 29 weeks gestation, so is still in hospital while they fatten him up!Arkad

If this has been going on for 5 days, you may want to take him to the doctor to see if there is anything wrong with him. He or she may be getting ready to start cutting teeth. Sometimes that is a big cause. When they are cutting teeth most of the time all they do is cry, and half the time they don't want to eat. Check his or her gums. If thats not the problem, I really would contact your doctor.

If you baby isn't drinking or sleeping you need to take him to the doctor as he could have something seriously wrong.
If you just mean that his milk isn't pacifying him when he is trying to sleep have you considered that he might be teething. His gums may be too sore to have the bottle in his mouth. Try some teething gel or ambosol on his gums then try the bottle again.
