I do not remember who posted the link to this site, but I wish to thank them. I joined as soon as I read that post and submitted an article and also one of my poems. I got an email last night that said my poem had been published. It gave me quite a good feeling that they thought it was worthy of their attention. So, I hope whoever posted the link sees this and know that i am very grateful for the information.
Here is the link to my poem if anyone would like to read it. I wrote it awhile back and it is about a soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I checked it out...very well written. I added a comment on your AC page as well that invited you to check out my AC articles. I also subscribed to your content, so that I can check out whenever something is added to your content page. I hope you will add me as well. I love AC, they are great. It is a good feeling to see your work published, good job.

Thanks! I will check it and see if I can find it lol...I am still reading the AC101 and other help pages. It takes time for some things to sink into my thick skull.

I have heard about this site as well, and glad you commented on it. I took a look at your poem, very nicely put. I just might give it a try, someone out there might like what I say.

I highly recommend it! I was thrilled to get that email that it had been published to the site. I don't know if Traci has told you, but I have alot of poems on our support site. I love to write and am anxious to get my poems to the publisher I have chosen to self publish with. I also have a children's book ready to go. But, self publishing costs money and I have to be sure I have it to spare. But until then, this is a good alternative.
Let me know when you have something on there. I'd love to read it!

I will do that thank-you. I am not sure if Traci has told me, she could have with my memory lately lol
I did submit a story I did called Righ of Passage about my MS. I will see if I can add you okey dokey here I go. :P

Thank you very much for sharing your poem, it was a lovely piece, you are indeed very creative and congrats on getting published. I took the liberty to sign up to the site myself as I have got a fair bit of poetry that I have written, which I will try and get published through this site, so thank you for the link.

I went over and read your poem. It's a very timely tribute to the men and women fighting overseas. I didn't even realize that Associated Content accepted poetry, so you helped me see that by your post here. If you want to become friends and subscribe to each other's work, let me know. Poetry was the first thin I looked ofr and found they do accept it. I am thinking though that they do not pay for it. Alot of my poetry is on the military family support website which I am a member of. When I have the extra cash to do so, I am going to self publish. I also have a children's book ready to be published. I enjoy writing and have found it to be a good outlet for my emotions.
I am glad you liked the poem and yes it was meant as a tribute.
I am brand new on AC and trying to learn the ropes.
I think it would be lovely to become friends and subscribe! Thank you very much!

Thats great for you! Its always nice when something you have written gest published. Ive had a few articals be published and some more waiting in line. Keep at it!
