Ways to minimize posting with zero response - request to mylot friends/members!

Every mylot members may be having some posting with zero response and may be for month together.It is not good and this does not mean that posting was not good.With the passage of time,these kind of postings goes behind and behind.Everybody wishes to have their posting with non zero response.
Here is away, try it and have all your posting with non zero response.This can be resolved with our cooperation only.I am having about 25 posting with zero response.My humble request to mylot friends/ members to go through these,if you feel it is worth responding,respond it otherwise leave.If we do for each other, we may achieve the target of posting with non zero response.Let us help each other.

I agree with u my first day I posted something and no one responded made me kind of weary to post something else but I did and people responded so I felt better. I always go to my friends list first and if I don't respond it's cause I really don't know anything about what they are discussing. we all need to help each other!!!!

I share your idea. It's not funny when you post something you think should be interesting and not even 1 out of 77000 shares your view. Personally before i sign out each day i always check the postings without rsponses and pick out what i like and respond to it as a way of encouraging others.

I agree with you. It is the way to minimize the number of unresolved discussions. I think that is another reason to have some friends on myLot. I always look for postings from my friends and try to answer those that really is of interest to me.

Yes I agree that every mylot members may be having some posting with zero response and may be for month together also mine,I think it is good if every member in mylot looking the discussion with zero response first,to help each other so,there is no discussion with zero response stay longer,these kind of postings goes behind and behind, everybody wishes to have their posting with non zero response.

On my way:) I know what you mean, I also have one discussion without any answers and it's the only one that I can resolve because there isn't even one answer for me to mark as the best answer. And since we're helping each other, when you have a minute would you like to help me with my no response posting? Thanks :)

That is a great idea. I try to answer no response discussions everyday, but I am probably only getting the newest ones from that list. I just chalk mine up to being new and stupid for the ones I have with zero post. I will check yours out and see if I can contribute to any of them.

thanks for this discussion I do go thru the none rsponceones pretty often and I do wish others would too that way we may get more I have about 30 friends on here but maybe 6 responed to what I post.I know that dont have notify on so they should catch it as it goes in to days discussions or the no responce ones right?

When you get tired of meaningless discussions, or want to try something different...checking out the discussions with no responses is sometimes where you can find some gems. Sometimes, though, they are discussions with no responses for a good reason! I like to pick one of my mylots friends and go into their oldest discussions and see if I can get it going again. I'll go check out yours older ones now. Have fun..

I really agree with you Brijendra. We need to help each other with our posting. I will try to answer a lot of your posts and ask that in turn you answer a lot of my posts also. Is that all right with you?

This is true.. You see, i had activated your "Notify On" in my profile, so that everytime you started a discussion, mylot would send me an email, so i can respond it on time. I just hope you do the same in my discussions.

I am having a hard time for people to respond to my posts, is it the topics that i put up? i have a lot of posts that has no response. some of my topics do have responses but there's just a few of them. i have added friends for them to respond to my posts but it doesn't work. i have rated people positively every time and still there are just a few people that respond to my discussions. sometimes i get a bright idea on what to post hoping that people would respond. but after posting it a few do respond but after that my topic goes dormant. what should i do?

I think this will work the best as you go through your friends old discussions, etc and when your name starts popping up you'll spark some return interest in your posts.
It seems that the more you respond the more likely you will get return posts. It is nice to go back and post on old discussions and ones with little to no responses as that will throw that discussion back into the "recent discussion" page and have a 2nd chance to be seen again.

brijendra,your message is to those mylot users that doesn't make sense in their posting or in their responses.
how can you answer question with questions,how can you post something contrary to what the topic is saying,well,here comes my advice,is better not to post than posting senseless and meaningless sentences.thank you.

Brijendra, it is definitely demoralising to pose discussions and get zero or one response. I understand.
Even though my confidence is shaken, I ponder over the discussions I have posted, and I can always find a reason for the poor response. I learnt from it, and move on.
It helps to have friends. For a start, I respond to friends discussion if I can comment positively, regardless of whether they responded to me. Personally, I feel responding to discussions is much more satisfying than posting discussions.
