I pray to God that even if anyone is my enemy then their husband keep alives at least upto 80 years even they are in war or other critical job. Though none cannot say when he/she will die. If my husband die at my old age I no need to marry again because then my kids will grow and can earn. If I see that there is no way of living and I am young then can marry anyone after expiry of her husband as husband need to lead a family life and for livelihood even as a guardian of a loneley woman.

Since my husband is in the military and deploys to Iraq I have wondered the same thing because the truth is, it could happen. I don't see anything wrong with it but I'm not sure I would. I would be so hurt and I can't see myself with anyone else. I couldn't love another man the way I love him. But maybe if the situation did come up I would change my mind. I guess for me I don't really know until I get there...which hopefully I never do.

I've been married for 37 years this June. I can't even remember what it is like to go on a date! LOL. After all this time spent with one person, it would be very difficult to start again...to open yourself up emotionally, to share, to trust...all of those things would be difficult for me I think.
