If there is one person I need to talk to everyday it is my mom. It may sound strange to some, but this is the first time I'm living away from her after a long time (the last was when I was in boarding school, 10 yrs ago) I miss her a lot and feel nice to talk to her and also my Dad at times. I feel odd if I don't speak to my mom, that's one of the first things I do when I wake up..give her a call:)
My hubby has a very close friend who lives in another city and they talk to each other everyday. They speak for just a minute or two but they do call each other everyday.
Is there someone in your life whom you have to talk to everyday no matter what? Have you ever gone without talking to them?

Hi greengal, I have some good friends whom I can rely to anytime I need to talk. They don't care if its 2 or 4 in the morning. I can't imagine not having this wonderful friends. We've been together since we're 7 years old. Our friendship have gone through many ups and downs. It makes it all the more exciting when we have our own children now. Everyone are automatically the godparents of our first born. I felt blessed. :)

Is God considered someone? You know me, I don't even know if God exist. But every night, if and when I remember, I would blabber my thoughts to him... whine a bit... you know the tune. :P

LOL I'm thinking it may be better that you are talking to someone you are not sure exists than to be like me and talk to myself, and yes, I answer myself also...
Good point though, I do talk to God daily, several times a day.

I've never been close enough to my family to want to talk to any of them every day. The only ones I've ever wanted to talk to as often as possible were the women I have loved, while the relationships were ongoing. That was a self-inflicted burden and I'm glad I've been in more relationships where hardly any feelings were involved on my part. Less hassle!
*End of cynical mode* ;)

The only person that I talk to everyday would be my husband. I know many people do not understand this but he really is my best friend. Nothing great is complete until I have shared it with him. He is like a part of me and when he is at work, I miss him. I truely love my husband. I want to spend Eternity with him by my side, hand in hand.He even calls me from work each night to check on me and make sure that I am ok

well, it doesn't sound strange to me that you need to speak with your mum...maybe it is because I think that our parents are the only people we can completely rely on and trust in our life...maybe it is because I am used to talking to my mother nearly everyday...I mean we like calling each other to tell what happened in our day or just to ask for an advice or for a bit of support and so on...therefore we talk everyday or one other day...it depends on the time we have or things we have to say...I like talking to my mother...she is the person I love the most in my life..I can talk with her about everything...shopping, dresses, fashion, literature, inner thoughts, boys..she is always there to support me, to comfort me and to give me her sincere advice and I am sure she acts and speaks only bearing my best in her mind...it is so special

Yeah, apart from close family members i do talk to a couple of friends everyday. We are like best friends for 2 years and when ever we meet there is so much to talk about. When i ever i feel a bit low i just pick up the phone and call these friends right away

Yes. It's my husband, whether it's a long serious talk or a talk full of jokes, I just feel the need to speak with him everyday. I don't know the reason why, I just do.

Anyone in my family that I would like to talk to a lot still lives in Scotland and that is too expensive. I do talk to my best friend everyday, often more than once.

It was my mom until she passed away 7 yrs ago.
It was hard without her. I talked almost about everything with her. She's more like a friend than a mom to me.
Now I'm a mother too and I wish someday my children might think the same way to me. I miss my mom a lot.
There;s many things that I want to tell her.

Definitely my mama. I call her or see her every day. I don't have a good day when I haven't at least talked to her on the phone. When I get depressed, I tend to avoid her because I don't want her to worry about me...but when I don't call her, she already knows that something is wrong.

There are 3 People my Daughter and my Son as you know I have just moved away and I still need to talk to them everyday specially my Daughter as she has always talked to me about her work when she comes home in the mornings so now she lets me know when she is home and I will ring and we will chat for a bit.
Then there is my Lovely Man, he calls me every day even when he does come to see me. I am lost if I do not speak to these 3 People every Day.

No I don't have someone I have to talk to every day but then my daughter usually thinks she has to talk to me everyday so I do normally talk to her. If she doesn't call I don't think much about it but if she doesn't call for 2 days I call to see what's going on.

Hi!
I talked to my parents daily, but if you meant really talk... well I don't do that on daily basis. In fact, I felt somehow I have distance myself from them. My bad really :(
I also have friends, whom I can talk to you about my personal matters. I really close to them, yet I don't do it every day too... wish I can. Yet, I have to keep in mind that they also have lives of their own.

there is someone i have to talk with everyday only its not a face to face talking. since i moved from my country BRUNEI which is somewhere near singapore, moving to melbourne australia,i found so lonely being here, firstly malay is my first language where english come as second. but my english is not bad compare to some who cant speak at all. when i come here i always try to search for persons who i can call friends or close friends that i can talk and share with something in common but i can see all the people here they all are not that friendly as in they dont really care about others but they just care about theirselves and selfish. im so lucky that i have my laptop here with me that i still can contact my back home friends using MSN and SKYPE sometimes. having the technology nowdays are so useful to me interm of communication. so everyday i spend like 7-8 hours sitting infront of my laptop and start chating with my friends. only god knows how i feel and so really2 trying to get use to the environment here.
