how often do you wash the hair

I change my hairstyle often but the longest I had one was for around 6 years when I was in school. I wasn't so much into hair styles back then. I had a front cut but later grew it to the full length. I say wear your hair the way it looks best.

Don't you experience any itching? I wash my hair everyday. Although some people have told me that I should not wash it daily as my hair is not exposed to dirt and that we live in a cold place.
