I wonder why kids love to draw on the wall. No matter how many times you would tell them not to write or scribble on the wall and how many papers or coloring book you will give them, still they can't resist going to the wall. You can imagine our walls in our living room, and i'll only do the repainting when he's over this stage.

I never let my kids have pens or crayons unless I was in the room. Then if they went to draw on the wall or table I would shout 'no' at them and if they continued I would take the crayon roughly out of their hand and not let them draw any more. They soon learned.

I think they see the wall as a big pice of drawing paper. My kids have gone through that phase too. But I encourage them to put their creativity in darwing books and paper. Eventually, they learned to appreciate that its better to draw in paper since I crub the walls right away. And their drawings I clip it on the fridge and walls in their room so that our family will appreciate and praise them for their efforts and creativity.

My 4 year old daugther also do the same. She like writing and drawing in the wall. Even if we tell her not to, Still she she write and draw. Our doors have ots of ABC's(alphabet) and diffrent kind of shapes. Instead of scolding them, most of the time i am amaze because she can already write on her age right now.
