I am working mom and I am hoping i could find a job in the net to help support my family and hopefully, let me quit my job and concentrate on it full time while at home where i can be with my child and uh children in the near future.
As I searched thru the net, i have accessed sites asking me to register at a certain fee or purchase books containing details on how to go about it. These sites have testimonials on how to earn income like $3000 & up a day just by doing data entry. These are really tempting but is this really possible??? Are they real?? If not, how do I determine if its just hoax or real??

i've been working hard also to find one of these work-at-home jobs. but no luck! and i agree with them, if they ask you pay for membership or something...it must be a scam. i got here in mylot becoz of that searching-for-work-at-home-job thing. and i also find those sites that will pay you not much but enough to pay your time on the internet.

Would someone be kind of enough to explain what you classify a wotk-at-home job?
I am at home full time as well.
I have spent a total of whole $5 to join this program. With that investment I get a Complete online business where I get to keep 100% of the profits.
What I am doing is difinitely not a Scam Not by any means I have been with the same program since 2006 and love it immensely. I have also known the owner/admin for over 5 years. He does everything in his power to see we get nothing but his very best.
If you require more info feel free to let me know

I have a rule for working at home - if you have to invest any money to do it, then it must be a scam. I think a lot of other people would agree with me here.

I say the same thing. I work at home doing transcripts and I never had to pay anything to start. I thought it was a scam at first but after I got my first check I knew it was real. Don't pay money to work for someone. They should be paying you!

If you have to pay for it, it generally is a scam. There are only very few exceptions. Like GDI where you pay $10 a month but that $10 is for the domain and hosting you get. If you have to pay a fee to get some kind of list or training, then it's a scam.
Try affiliate marketing, that's free and there is plenty of free ways to get traffic.

I agree never to pay for anything. The risk is always too high. I do know, however, of a couple of places, like myLot, who will pay you for your efforts.

I am also currently looking for ways to earn extra income online, and I find that these free sites don't pay huge amounts individually, but together the payout is quite good and it has allot of pottential to grow even more.
I hope that this helps! :)
