Does Sanjaya Malakar deserve to be on American Idol?

Ok America, what ups, since the top 24 was chosen Sanjaya Malakar picked over many well-deserved singers, for some reason has continued his stay on the show. Watching the last two Male Performances and Last Two eliminations, Sanjaya himself was surprised that he was moving on to the final 12, knowing he gave weak performances on both shows, even the judges can AGREE and surpised their selves that he was moving on. Now come on, Sundance vs. Sanjaya. It should had been Sundance in the final 12. Just looking at the faces of the top 12 you can see that they believe he did not belong there, gush they didn't even give Sanjaya a hug, or congrats. they are Ticked-off.
So tell me America DOES HE DESERVE TO BE THERE?

I'm not from America but I love watching American Idol. Yes Sanjaya Malakar deserves to be there. Personally I think he's got a great voice, better than the other idols there. Well all of them have great voices but what can they do if one has more supporters than the other. The judges should not react that way, in the first place they know that it's based on voting. Talent is there already, they have screened the hopefuls right? They just comment but the final decision is really on votes.

Firstly Simon himself picked him so he has something in him because of which he reached 24. I haven't seen much episodes till now so no comments how is he. If people like him, there must some kind of talent which people are looking for so he deserves to be on American Idol.

I felt that his behavior tonight after he learned that he made it once again showed that he was uncomfortable with still being there.
He just keeps getting worse every week, and I think its because he is embarrassed to be in with others who sing so much better than him. It must have been pretty slim pickins this year because I think that there are only 4 or 5 that can actually really sing well.
Thats just my opinion, and maybe I am tone deaf.

i'm not an american too but i watch AI. i think sanjaya doesn't deserve to be in the top 12. there are other guys who are more deserving than him. i'm hoping he'll be voted out this week. americans should wake up and vote those who really are deserving... :)

Im sorry to say this but I personally think that Sanjaya dont deserves to be in top12! but unfortunately he did...
Well, best of luck to the other contestants....
I will not watch american idol again when at the end, Sanjaya will win the title!

If deserving then none of the guys are deserving to be there. Comparatively as well as the current seasons, the guys just dont stand out or good enough.
