When do you say it is over? For how long will you hold on to a relationship and try to save what is left of it?

It took me 6 years to wait Mr.Ex put the ring on my finger and 3 years to wait for him to correct the mistake. When I was tired with waiting and bored his lying words, I made up my mind to divorce.

a relationship should be over when one of you do not respond anymore to the other's feelings. maybe one is still happy but its not a one-way street. so its a fooloshness to carry on if your partner does not wnat or need you anymore nor you are to him. respect, thats what its called. no respect means no love at all

as long as i think that I could still hold on and I still have the feelings to back up my actions then I would still try to save it. My boyfriend has done a lot of things for me. He had made some sacrifices for me that would prove how much he loves me. A few times in our life there would come a time that he would somehow give up. At that time I would realize the things he had done for me and I'd feel bad that I had not seen those before. So that's usually the time when i try to make up for my mistakes.

for me a relationship is over when one or both partners are unhappy, discontented and full of anxiety within that relationship..when you are in a relationship, you should be able to grow as a person..a much much better person than you were before u met ur partner..not drag the both of u into sadness, uneasiness and a situation full of arguments..
so when a relationship lacks love, contentment, respect, happiness and all other stuff like that..then it should be ended..
