I think breakfast is very important. You need to feed your body in order for it to function at its best. Eating breakfast also jumpstarts your metabolism.
In my country it is normal to eat a slice of bread with cheese, or meat, or jam etc. Some also eat ceral, or musli and yoghurt. more and more people start the day with a smoothy. I am a smoothy person myself. I mix berries, water, coconut oil and protein powder. This gives me a really good start of the day. I get all the necessary nutrients - enought proteins and healthy fat.

Good to see that someone else sees the value of coconut oil. I use it every day. Had it this morning in my oatmeal..

No, I don't skip breakfast because I too realise that it's the most important meal of the day. It boosts your metabolism to keep you going for the rest of the day.
In England, a traditional breakfast would be a glass of fruit juice, cereal with milk or a yoghourt, followed by a full English breakfast, comprising fried, poached or scrambled eggs on toast, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes or baked beans, followed by perhaps, a piece of fruit and a cup or two of tea.
Brightest Blessings.

I do quite agree since it is the first meal of the day. After all, that's the first source you get the energy from to start the day. For me, I normally have brunch though. :P

Im staying in my college hostel where we usually sleep around 3 or 4 in morning...Most of us wake up by the time our college bus comes to the hostel..We wakes up,rush to bath room take bath and rush in to the moving with all our belongings which includes our clothes, bag etc...we even dress inside the bus till the bus reaches the college. So most of the times most of us skip our breakfast...Not that we dont want it but we just cant because ours is not something which we can take in the hand and run...so skip is skip...

I was never able to eat breakfast as a child, I would bring up everything, and it just got to be a habit. I am never hungry at breakfast time but can eat about 2 hours later.

I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but I often miss breakfast specially on weekdays. We are always in a hurry in the morning that’s why we don’t have time to eat breakfast.
Here in our country traditional breakfast is like one of the mail meal for the day. We usually served fried rice with any viands.

I will eat breakfast if I am hungry that early in the morning. I don't always eat breakfast food when eating breakfast, but I still call it my breakfast meal. Alot of times I can skip over breakfast eating and I will eat lunch. I often go throughout the whole day without eating anything until supper time. I tend to snack around alot throughout the day and it kind of curves my appetitite. I have a hard time finding a food that I will really enjoy eating. I do believe that eating three meals a day is important but it is very hard to do sometimes will the schedule I have and the food that I have bought for my whole family to eat and survive on.

No way! Breakkie is the most important meal of the day, and i really cannot function without it. Also, despite the fact that by eating food you'd think you'd put on more weight than not eating it, having breakfast does help you keep slimmer as it kick starts your metabolism for the whole day.
I suppose it's traditional to have a full English, you know, a fry up with fried bread, eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, mushroom etc, though i doubt many people actually have time to cook and eat that in the morning, so most have toast or cereal.

Breakfast is the most important meal in one day because if we do not have breakfast, probably we need to wait for more than 4-5 hours to have lunch, that mean you had ben eaten something since the dinenr yesterday which may be 12 hrs ago. It is definitely not good to your stomach.
Althouh I notice this, i sometimes skip the breakfast because I have to rush to work, I simply do not want to wake up earlier to prepare fot the breakfast.
That is why most of the time , i will only have toast for my breasfast as it only takes me few minutes to cook.

as always. my mom told me that the healthiest meal of the day is the breakfast but im not used to it. i feel lousy when i take a breakfast meal. and it feels crazy inside me. coffee and something like cookies or biscuit or bread are all fine with me.
in our house, my mom used to cook sunny-side-up, tocino, hotdog -- thats the usual food she prepares for the family.

I'm the worst at having breakfast. I'm always rattling on to my kids about how they have to eat because it's the most important meal of the day and then I usually end up just having a cup of coffee.

I used to skip breakfast until about 12 months ago when I was diagnosed with diabetes and my doctor told me that it was very naughty to skip breakfast as it was a very important meal. I used to have lunch at 12, an evening meal around 6.30 and maybe a snack later in the evening and nothing till the following lunchtime. So nowadays I have cereal every morning. Typical breakfasts here in the UK can range from bacon, eggs, sausages, baked beans and toast to just cereal or even a cup of tea with a couple of slices of toast. I do feel healthier for having had breakfast for the last year as for well over 20 years I was skipping breakfast almost every day.

I usually skip breakfast because I always get up late and doesn't have any more time to eat my breakfast. But here in the Philippines, breakfast is a main meal and I believe that it gives you the energy to do work everyday. As a substitute, I just eat my break sooner than usual if I didn't eat breakfast that morning.
The traditional breakfast here is rice or pandesal and then some viands. Or juice, coffee or water as your drink.
