Do men or women feel the most hurt after a breakup?

There are two things to consider: 1) The type of relationship. Whether both the partners are seriously attached to each other or just fooling around. 2) In a serious relationship men are more hurt because they are more sincere and also more vulnerable, whereas, the make of the women is such that they can get over it easily.

its not for men or women. its about the feeling and relationship. That could be man or woman or may be both in some cases. But reason is women are more expressive and men wont prefer to express sorrow usually. But that doesnt mean men are not hurt.

We both will feel the pain,but a man can surpass the feeling faster than a woman

It doesn't matter whether you are a male or female. As long as you have committed to the relationship, I think you would feel the pain and the loss. Do never break up a relationship easily. :P

I think that both feel hurt after the breakup, but woman seem to feel hurt the longest. Woman tend to hold onto thier feelings while men can move on faster.
