And you are surprised to be called a bigot! Have you actually read what you just posted? Yes the United States is at war with iraq but that was supposedly becausr they had weapons of mass destruction - wanna show them to the world! I am not actually one but do you know that the majority of the world feels that if it is not an illegal war then it is certainly more about oil tha anything else? And you do realise that moslems come from many different countries not just Iraq or Afghanistan? Bigotry and racism always lead to disaster! After all you mentioned Germany and the war - Hitler managed to murder millions because he made people believe that different cultures were worthless! I'll pray for you

did i ever state thet i denies being biggoted?I am but not toward the p[eople but rather to the doctrine they accept as truth !here are some qotes from the quran you may not know about !Believe me these folks want us either to convert to their faith or die !
“When you meet the unbelievers, strike off their heads; then when you have made wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives.” (Quran47.4).
"And when the sacred months are passed, kill those who join other gods with God [i.e. moshrekin.] wherever ye shall find them; and seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush: but if they shall convert, and observe prayer, and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way, for God is Gracious, Merciful."(Quran 9:5)
And as for Christians and Jews who rejected him he has this to say:
"Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given and believe not in God, or the last day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden..."( Quran. 9:29)
By the way the other Gods they talk of are the God of christians and jews (Yaweh )not Allah they are not one and the same our God has a son Jesus allah it clearly states again from the quran Allah has no sons!so you see we even worship different Gods!

suitsme, I've told you this in other discussions and you keep ignoring it and then making the same fallacious argument in new discussions.
We did not go to Iraq to get lower oil prices for *consumers*. We went into Iraq to get lower oil prices for *oil companies*. They never had any intention of generously lowering gas prices as soon as they got their hands on Iraq's oil. They didn't want to get it so they could, out of the goodness of their hearts, help out others. They're not philanthropic organizations. The oil companies are making record profits while we are paying these outrageous prices at the pumps and they have access to cheap oil. Can you put two and two together?
Please, please stop citing high gas prices as some sort of evidence that we didn't go for oil. It's absurd and extremely naive to think that whenever a company gets a better price on something the customer does too. And I'm tired of explaining this.

because you are using all muslims all over the world as blame, germans were in germany, one country the country that was at war, if germans lived in tibet they were not to blame.
It is very hard to change the mind of a bigot because what ever answer a person comes up with to show the different a bigot will not accept it.

The Quran does not tell Muslims to wage war on innocent people and so they are not anti-christian, or against people of other religion. The problem is people have missquoted the Quran to justify all the illtreatment. Usually the quotes are completely false or taken out of context.
For example, in Surah 2 verses 190-193, The Quran states:
'Fight against those who fight against you in the way of Allah, but do not transgress, for Allah does not love transgressors.
Kill them whenever you confront them and drive them out from where they drove yoyu out. For thought killing is sinful, wrongful persecution is even worse than killing. Do not fight against them near the Holy Mosque unless they fight against you; but if they fight against you kill the, for that is the reward of such unbelievers.
Keep on fighting against the until mischief ends and the way prescribed by Allah prevails. But if they desist, then know that hostility is only against the wrong-doers.'
The Quran does not call on Muslim to fight unjustly, but only on those attacking them. Many more muslims have attacked us as a result of us being in Iraq as we invaded Iraq. Terroist Muslims have missquoted the Quran for their own cause, but Muslims arn't stupid and those who do not want to transgress don't follow.
So why should we be at war against all Muslims?

I looked at your link and it proves my point completely. The question is 'Does the Qu'ran relly contain dozens of verses commanding in vilence?'
And the first example verse is the same example I gave above, but instead is given without it's previous verse; taking it completely out of context. The verse is talking about those who attack you, not just any 'nonbeleivers'.
Sura (2:191) - 'And slay them whenever ye find them, and drive them out of the pklaces whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-beleivers].'
Notice the author has used the [ ] brackets. This indicates something the author has added or changed for clarity. But the author's interpretations are false.
The Qu'ran does not say persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-beleivers. It says wrongful persecution of anyone, is worse than slaughter of anyone. Which is a common law of many lands - in Britian if you murder someone just because of their race, you will be jailed for much longer.
That link is right, in that alot of the verses are open-ended and debatable, just as much of the old testiment was. But people have chosen to takes the verses out of context, to lead people into believing that all Muslims beleive they may use violence. Terrorists have used the Qu'ran for their cause, missquoting the Qu'ran but I know for a fact that average Muslims do not agree, just as many people dissagree with war.
About a month ago I was walking through a town near me that has a high Muslim population and I was handed a leaflet by a Muslim, saying that terrorist's like Al Qeada are abusing the Qu'ran and how offensive and damaging it is to true Muslims.
