ToDo list?

Okay I read a discussion awhile back about to do lists etc. Now I hardly ever write things down. But after my little trip to the farm let me say I will in the future. LOL. I went up north to watch & see the progress the DNR was doing as far as shearing the tall growth for the grouse habitat. I had everything set by the door to be sure to bring. An extra warm flannel shirt, my camera, my hat & gloves, coffee mug, boots and important papers I needed. Once at the farm the DNR agent showed & said, "Let's take a walk in the back acreage Bob I'll show you the work." LOL I then realized I forgot my boots. I could carry everything but the boots & never retruned in the house to grab them. Ugg. Next time I'll have a lost. Knowing me I'll forget to check the liost before I leave. HAHAHA. Attached is a pic of the sun rising in the fog not too far from the farm.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB.

I had a look at your farm photo, and rated it & wrote a comment.
I may have missed one of your disccusions, but is this your farm? What is DNR?
Oh, I must look at the rising sun photo.
Yes, always have a list. I would not be able to do all I have to, without a list!!

Yeah my farm. Well my dads but I take care of it etc etc. Gonna have my older brother living there in 3 years when he retires. DNR is the Department of Natural Resources. Thanks for enjoying the photos. They're awesome I think.

LOL, grandpa, you should keep a paper and a pen with you all the time. Everytime you remember something, you can easily write it down. When you visited my country, Philippines, you will be amaze to see that we have a place here called Manila Bay. It is a popular tourist site. By the time the sun is ready to go down, everyone will applaud at the beauty of it. The sun will slowly go down and the colors will change from dark orange to orange to yellow, and so on...Take a look at the picture. It is beautiful.

Always funny and quite a joke when it happens to someone else. This is about as handy as going golfing without the clubs. Thank You one more time. Always refreshing.

Hi grandpa,it is not the only you who forgot such things. My friends that also my business partner that is known as a very young fresh teenager simply forgot the things that most important to be presented at our client. I think all of us should do the "to do list" just remind us the things that we have to complete at.
But I think there is one more alternative to do our "to do list". Every single of us do have a cell phone. There is a function of alert, to do list and many more.Just use it for our daily reminder!

First on the list is practice typing skills and learn how to spell list.

I am one of those people who enjoy lists, i like to have everything written down, beforehand. It's quite affective for me, I couldn't get anything done without one sometimes. (:

It amuses everyone around me, but I always have to make lists, of everything. I'm a bit forgetful (but not overly so), but I feel it's the only way to give my brain some rest. Plus I feel much better (less panicky and more in control) knowing it's all written down. I still sometimes get the feeling that I'm forgetting something and it's quite upsetting for me, but it's usually not even true!

If I have lots of things on my plate to do, its so easy to get lost and confused...lol..it happens to the best of us..I just have to write it down, especially if there is a lot of running around to different places, like the bank, post office, pick up this, pack that etc...I forgot a boot to once, but it wasn't at home, it was in the bog where I got both my feet stuck while on a fishing trip..had to leave the thing there because I couldn't pull it out, and ended up walking home with one boot left in the woods bogged down out of sight in mud...lol

I habitually write down stuff and save a "to do" list online, cuz I sometimes forget to bring my written copy! LOL!

This way, I know I'll remember what I have to do- because, no matter where I am, I always check my emails and this site! :)

well i too have been such a sufferrer in my life... always i am at a contant confusion, if i ma out of town with abag packed or when i am leaving for somewhere and packing a pack....recently I adopted this policy but it really worked a lot --- while I was packing my bag for the recent trip to goa, from an undie to the socks, from a handkerchief to the wallet -- everything I mentioned in a complete long 45 element list..... and then made three columsn inforn of each entry....(1) while packing (2) while at hotel (3) while returrning...and literally i used to count things and put a tick mark everytime as mentioned...welll it took a fraction of second more than the regular act but made it all quite planned!!!

That happens a lot to me. I always forget things that I need most, and I end up going back to get it or just leave it at that. Maybe a to do list will work for me. Thanks Grandpa Bob for waking me up. I badly need to get organized. I'm an OC but still forgets some important things.
