Old people shouldn't drive

Seriously... I really don't think any of these old people that can barely see over the steering wheel should be allowed to drive. It's not just that they drive slow, it's that sometimes the forget they're driving all together. No signals, blowing through red lights, they just saunter on without a care in the world. What do you think?

there is a point in everyones life where it is time to give up the keys. If your hearing or vision pose a threat to others then you dont need to be on the road. However, drunks and cell phone users will still be out there. There are always going to be road dangers and people who disreguard others and cause them.

Hi All,
I agree and disagree. We can't take their independence from them. So how about old people communities. They can drive only in this community. However it will be like the cars @ the amusement park. A rail to keep them on track.
THE REASON WHY OLD PEOPLE DRIVE... who the hell else is going to do it? You don't want old people on the road. How many old people have to offered a ride? =) Maybe it would be a good minimum wage job for teenagers.
In order to fix the problem we need to address the solution.
