I was amazed because I can't imagine anyone breaking codes from a bunch of numbers. You are truly gifted if you have that. I also admired the role played by Jennifer Connelly, her patience and her love. When I watched the movie i even wondered if there are still people who could do what she did----stood by her husband no matter what---even at the brink of insanity...

In your excitement in starting this discussion, you actually forgot to write the title of the movie. It took me a while to figure out that you are referring to A Beautiful Mind with Russell Crowe.
I agree that this was a good movie, and I guess The Academy agreed with you after granting it four Oscars. I'm sure you are aware that this was based on a true story, and I can only imagine how difficult it must be to be plagued with such a mental malady. Yes, the wife was as stoic and as loyal as a Penelope. I'm glad the movie ended on a happy note: the marriage still intact, he got the recognition that he deserved and he has slowly come to terms with his illness. However, it is too sad and serious for me to give it a second watching.

This movie is about John Nash the person that saw the world in a way no one could have imagined. I absolutely admire Russell Crowe in this movie and the story touched me in so many ways. For once I hate math and believe it has nothing to do with my life, well I eventually changed my mind but I'm still not good in math. hahaha. Next is the love that his wife gave him, through the bad times she's always there for him. It's great that he managed to interact with people through teaching Mathematics to students.

I didn't really like the movie. Is a very sad movie and I really cannot watch it again. Also you have not even mentioned the name of the movie that you were talking about in the whole discussion. I had to search for the name of the movies after reading you comment.
