Violence on TV and movies, is it getting out of hand?

There is so much violence in the movies these days, sometimes I feel like I miss about half the movie because I'm covering my eyes so often! Do you feel the violence depicted on TV and in movies has gotten WAY more graphic with advances in technology? How do you feel about this?

I think it is terrible. I believe that if people see lots of violence they will become so used to it that they will find it normal in everyday life and the occurances of it will become more and more.

yes i think there is too much but at the end of the day, it is up to the viewer as to what they want to watch.sometimes though, you could be watching a great film and as you said, it iS too graphic, sometimes there is no need, people do have imaginations.
