Have you ever wonder there's an alternative to MS Windows that you're using?

There are a lot of open source alternative for the popular MS Windows operating system and applications. Linux is getting mainstream now on the desktop. With KDE, GNOME, XFCE and other GUI interfaces, other operating systems like OpenBSD and FreeBSD are also gaining grounds on home computers. The good thing with these alternative software is you don't need to pay for the licenses and they're pretty much stable and reliable than their MS Windows counterpart.
