When did you start smoking and why?

i started smoking on 31st of Dec 2004 ..because i wanted to enjoy the feelings of smoking.....which non smokers can't understand...... no one thought me ,i myself started learning slowly,and now iam a chain smoker.i brand is GOLD FLAKE Kings......

I don't smoke and never tried it. I don't think it may be a thing I need to do.

I started smoking when I was 15 and stopped at 17 1/2, with little problems. I smoked purely to be cool. It was a conversation starter. It created a bond where there was none. It gave me something to do when there was no one around. I'm glad I stopped and never tried it again. Sometimes at clubs, I used to see a lot of good looking women smoking and saw that guys were smoking around them and they were able to instantly spark (no pun intended) a conversation and it made me a little upset.

I started smoking at the age of 15 still smoking today.For curiosity sake i tried smoking,try to stop when im sick and smoke when well.

I don't smoke either, but I think some of my friends smoke because thier paerents smokes or their friends smokes.
