I lost $1000 today...

So the DOW and NASDAQ fell by 2% and I felt a $1000 hit. I know this is a buying oppurtunity but it still hurts. I just have to remember that I am in it for long-term and short term losses will be my gains.

bjone6 Well there are a lot of intolerant people out there, like religious zealouts and racists. The PC/sensitive people try to compensate by being just as brash as the other people and we have these two extremes.

bjone6 I try to write at least once in my blog a week. I don't really have a daily audience and most of my traffic comes from Google or my RSS feeds. I really need to start writing daily though. http://moneyformilitary.blogspot.com

the animals that they are animals. If you tell an animal that you know that they are an animal you will get the "cold-shoulder" from them. I think that they feel that it is a raciest remark. Maybe even derogatory.

bjone6 The index site, www.salary.com is one of the best sites out there. I only wonder about my cost of living with state taxes and prices of food and gas. I live in Northern California and that's the worst for sales taxes and gas prices. It's difficult living here...
