What with the surge in Iraq, terrorists have tried a new thing. Driving through the check point with two little children in the back seat, as then they get less scrutiny, then the adults ran from the car, and exploded the car with the children still inside! Obviously this is extreme of extreme and no religion or holy writings approve of this. All people should unite to rid the world of these 'people' before it is too late, as they have waiting cells in so many countries.. Appeasement and feel good tactics? oR continue trying to return to being macho regardless of the press?

This is so terrible,but it is not just in this war. I have friends who were in Vietnam. They saw soldiers blown up by children bearing bombs after the GIs befriended them.It seems that some cultures or people I am not sure what identifies the group have no value on human life.
These terrorists are very scary and threatening because they have infiltrated so many areas of the world.What is the solution, they obviously have so much hate inside.

It's hard to imagine.. all these insurmountable things, that people cannot simply talk out.. Why is that? I mean, even if an issue in the middle east is oil, isn't there negotiation? What with other nation's refinery capabilities, and then the oil.. why has it always been bloodshed rather than good lucrative deals for everyone, including (heaven forbid!) the people! What really puzzles me is, there is so much corruption and evil everywhere in the world, but yet everyone I know, is a good and kindly person! There's been a few bad ones I guess, but they must have wandered off.. And I know lots of people, because I'm connected to at least three states.. Maybe it's like with cults.. it starts out a little cult.. but it attracts and draws and grows.. til psychically you have.. what? an explosion..

this is total awful!
Just wished they would stop killing one another over here and blameing the US for it when they drive thru and jump out and kill the kids like that and not realy going after anyone but the innocents they do need to be stopped !

I have friends over there in the "sandbox" and it's not that easy to rid the world of these "people" because there are the good Iraqi's and the bad Iraqi's and see which one is which is close to impossible.
According to some of the extremist clerics, their religion does approve of this. In their extreme teachings, fighting or dying in the Jihad against infidels will get you into heaven.

You're so right. I'm sure it is very difficult. Is it true, the bad Iraqis live among the good? Do you think the people know who they are? Do you think they would ever be confident enough to turn them in to their new government?
[I've studied this - just in my own head, and I'm saddened to think there has never been in anyone's heart there democracy? Surely it's not perfect, but it's wonderful when people can be free, as most people "are" good. I can't give up the idea that good can always triumph over evil. And if you delay it maybe it will bite you in the butt later. Or our kids will be the ones dealing with it..

I cannot understand why the hell we are called civilised. I was also watching Amy Goodman this morning and the Kennedy film that's coming out regarding Abu Ghraib..the whole world has gone to pots and I think it's hight time there was a pan world revolution. The whole world political systemsucks..from east to west..Democracy? B_ll S__t excuse my french..The world is becoming like one stinking rotten fish and unfortunately the colonial powers have helped in creating these monsters and most of the regimes around the world should be held accountable for allowing such monstrosities to fester and wild beasts to run rampant and unchecked on this planet.
Don't you agree? If we have to cut the legs..we have to chop the head also!
I totally agree with you..the scum of the earth need to be removed..but unfortunately..there is too much scumin the political and financial world that is in power ..creating and generating more scumin the lower stratas of life..

Oh dear God this can't be true!! What on earth next, how low is frickin low. In my eyes that's it this is the lowest!!!! I am rambling, I am so upset I want to be sick.
