Do you buy your woman the diamond ring she wants? Do you pass down the heirloom ring that has been in your family for years? Does it make her money hungry if she picks a ring far out of your salary range? Does it matter to anyone that the whole idea of diamond rings was created by a company that hordes diamonds in an effort to keep the prices sky high even though they are not nearly as rare as people make them out to be? Tell me what you think

You have so many questions about diamonds, jasonroland. I was kind of laughing that your post looks intimate when it turned out to be bunch of hunks hoarding the diamonds. Lol!!
WellI'm not fond of jewelry, actually but if my husband would one day buy me an expensive one, I would be ten times grateful!
For high prices of diamonds, I guess they are expensive due to the 4 Cs--cut, clarity, carat, what's the other one?

The ring should be chosen by you! It is with your love that the ring would symbolize. If you know your womans taste then chose! I think if she wants to buy a ring for herself then she can. If you feel you must allow her to get the diamond she wants set a limit. I think she sounds spoiled.
