I was just thinking today if MyLot sold referrals I would buy some for sure. I belong to other sites that sell referrals at a resonable price and it has been well worth the investment. I usually pay .50-$1.00 per referral from my other sites. Would you purchase them if they were for sale? How much would you be willing to pay?

I had no idea that refs can be bought, well as i m new to mylot i think i hav alot to learn. But still if i buy refs wat r the chances that they remain active, cause only then im able to earn frm them.so i think that to buy refs will be a waste of money that is so hard to earn.

I had no idea referrals were being sold! I think it is a good idea but again what happens if the referrals are inactive? We lose money right..I think I'm better off putting my own efforts than rely on others. I have 13 referrals but not one is active..

I buy before some referrals from mylot from anther site but no luck.....they aren't active at all. They didn't even give a chance to see what kind of site is.
But I find your idea good.Mylot will be nice if sold some of the new members.I mean if anyone want sign up but he find the site alone without they refer him it will be nice if you can pay and buy those members.I'll willing to buy for sure.

I think that I would give it a try. I like the other responders amount of .25 each. Since it seems like half that sign up don't stay. But I would most definitely give it a try. If they did work out it would be great and if not then you wouldn't be out much. :)

The only problem with buying a ref is that you don't necessarily get an active ref. I've purchased refs 5 for $1 but they rarely did more than signup to collect the signup fee. If this were possible thru mylot, maybe they wouldn't all turn out to be inactives. :)

There was just an earlier on about someone purchasing referrals that unfortunately have not worked out so far. It is worth a try if you are rich.. but otherwise, maybe buying another packet of MacDonalds fries would be better. :P

I would pay up to about $1.50 per referral, only if they were to do something like make at least post 100 times. Otherwise I probably wouldn't as there is a chance that they won't be active you just waste your money.

No, I would not buy referrals if they will be sold here. That is because I will not be guaranteed that the referral I will get will be active. As of the moment, I have 45 referrals. Less than half of them are active. Though I would be really happy if all of them would be active, it is also just ok with me if they do not post here anymore. After all, I got them for free. :)

This is a new thing to me, i had never heard of people having to purchase referals before. Isnt it defeating the whole idea? I thought referals were meant to be voluntary, a result of you giving a potential referal something to benefit you both?
Or have i missunderstood the terms of the trade?

I am not sure why sites came up with this, but you are right the purpose of having referrals in the first place is to grow the site. Once the site has grown, they offer these purchases to bring in more revenue for them I think. I have tried a lot of different methods to get referrals and I do have 20, but they are not usually active. I purchased referrals from my other sites and it has worked out well for me. I supported the site and they in turn gave me a little hand to stay active.

only recently, i have come to know about referral selling thing. i am not sure, whether i would buy them even though i haven't had any referral whatsoever. the only reason being, i am not into full time payonline stuff, only do it for the fun of it. may be, some time from now, when i, actually, decide to be a full timer, i could buy some ACTIVE referrals.
wmg, how many have you bought so far? by the way, is the price negotiable? LOL...

I have refs that don't do anything now. I think that if I purchased a ref and it turned out like the others I would be even more disappointed!
It's also taking a long time to even make .50 right now. I would have to think about it.
Does this work for you on your other sites?

Buying referrals for free to join site like mylot is okay if you dont the very high risk of having inactive referrals. Most of the time they dont do anything just collect the fee they are paid and forget about it all. For the fact that the sign at several sites they may not even remember all.

I think I would but only after i get paid from mylot, I'm new here but I think referrals is the only way to make good money here and as I'm not very good at it , it would be nice to buy some referrals from mylot, some may be active and some may not but it worth trying..

I might try a few, my luck though they wouldn't be active. I have had that problem with my current referals. Many people sign up and when they realize that some work is involved they want no part of it! I guess there would be not problem with buying a couple and hoping/praying they would be active.

I think it would be nice to purchase rather than looking for them. we could only hope they are active, that's also true. but if they are our friends I think we can PM them. the message system here works better than other sites I joined by the way, but the earning calculation is not as transparent. But I know now mylot is not scam since I got paid.

I am not familiar with this whole referral process...I know that you make more money if you have referrals..I have absolutely none..and thought I could only get them by inviting personal friends to the site to join under my name...I don't belong to any other sites that operate with referrals so I don't know if I would do it...I suppose if it raised your earnings a great deal people would be interested!!! Seems like money talks on most of these sites!!! I , of course, will take a lot of time to make a very little money..although I think I will get a pay out at the end of this month...I just missed it my first month...

I don't have any referrlas on Mylot, but it would be good to have active referrals.I haven't tried purchasing referrals from a site.Do the paid referrals participate on the site? Well, if Mylot ever sells referrals , probably I will be interested to try my luck as most of them would be coming to Mylot automatically and have better chances of being active..That is quite a unique idea.
