im a newbie here. i noticed that there are number of members here who has invited me to be theior friends.
Of course, I accepted their invitation and still accepting friend requests.
however, does having so much friends at my lot would help me earn more even they are not from referrals? how?

It helps to have friends that will respond to your discussions and they give you discussions to respond to, but you have to be careful because there are many people who request to be friends just so they can spam you with make money onine sites. So if you are careful about who you accept as friends then your friends will help you earn more money because they respond to your discussions and the more responses you get the higher your earnings are.

Hi miches! welcome to myLot!
I've read all the respond above and I think they are enough answers to your concern.
Here are my few advices keep a good number of friends who really responded to your discussion and even you turn the notify on feature you should also respond to the member who responded to your discussion to reciprocate the gesture and develop a good relationship with other myLot member that it is not included in your friend's list.
Also it helps that you have a picture on your avatar as expresion of yourself and as a representation of you anything that you like to put.
Also referrals do help in your earnings so better have few to be in your lists.
Enjoy posting!

Welcome to myLot miches. I hope you spend many happy hours here. Miches, the number of friends you have will not affect your earnings - at least not because of the NUMBER you have.
MyLot earnings are increased by posting QUALITY. Make sure you always post quality discussions, responses and comments. When you have been here a while, you will be able to discern between friends and real friends, and you will want to delete some you accepted earlier.
My advice is to keep a smaller number of GOOD friends, with whom you can share good, top quality discussions. This is one of the roles of being a friend. When you receive a friend request, check out his profile. Firstly, check to see if he is referring everyone to his website. If so, it COULD be that he is just looking for referrals to another site or a means to spread spam. Check his discussions and responses to see if they are quality.
When you have good friends, check "discussions my friends started" first and respond to their discussions. Your friends should do the same for you.
