I really don't spend much time in the library. The most time I've spent in my campus library is long enough to find and check-out the books I need for my history papers. I really find it too quiet in most libraries...I've always enjoyed hearing things around me (I don't study well unless I've got some sort of music going), so the utter silence of my libraries just gets on my nerves after a while.

I go to the library to read or borrow books I need for college that are not available to buy or that I consider to be useful for a short period of time to worth buying them.
Sometimes I go there to read for pleasure, because not all bokks that I like are available to buy.

When I was a kid, I once found $500 on the floor at the library. I turned it in though. It was some old man's social security money.
I take DS to the library every few weeks. He's only 15 months, so we're really only there 15-20 minutes. Long enough for us to pull out a stack of books and for him to play a few minutes on the little kid toys they have. I think its' a good experience for him to have though. Hopefully he'll continue to enjoy the library as he gets older.

I go to the library primarily to study and use the internet and print. If I am studying I am usually there for about 2 hours at a time
