Cannot respond to some discussions in mylot??

This happened to me too.It was really difficult you write all the post all over.The number of my posts was under 500 like yours so I couldn't even save it at copy again.I didn't know what I d about it and until I figure out a solution suddenly the problem stop.Now for many days I didn't face it again.I hope yours solved fast but if not sent a message to admin.Always response and try fix the things.Good luck.

Same here. This has happened to me many times already. I hate it when this takes place. I usually pour some time in making a response. That's why if I cannot get it through upon posting my response, I really get frustrated and upset. There is a red alert which appears and reads 'please post a response'. I don't get it, simply because, I am indeed posting a response. I was thinking that maybe, somebody had done something to the discussion I have chosen that's why it's happening that way.

I have same problem and with you for several times and I feel very frustrated.When I want to post the discussion, suddenly my lot want me to sign in again and it was happened so many times.When I do it my respond or discussion already disappeard.After that I have to repeat same thing again.

THIS IS WHY --- I THINK I hate that when it happens but I think I finally figured out why!! There was a word in my post that it considered "mature". When I put a dot in between two of the letters like t.his, then it FINALLLLLLY passed.

I would suggest you switch to firefox. Then install this textarea script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7671 . You need to install greasemonkey https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/748 before that. Trust me, it's worth the "trouble". You won't have any problem after this. ;-)

I keep getting the same message. I agree with you that it's annoying that it happens only after you've typed a response. I noticed it happens more when I'm responding to a discussion not in my interests section.

It is a lot easier once you have 500 posts , I now copy and paste my discussion or my response if it is a long one , then if it disappears it is really easy to replace , you won't be long until you are there xx

I only saw problems when it was dial up. I don't really really know. For the most part because I have dsl I don't have any problems at all. What do you have?

i experience the same thing couple of times already and it is very frustruating... i had typed a very long response and after that i can't post it... luckily it doesn't happen very often to me... i don't know the reason why... and i don't understand either... i hope somebody can explain to me why this happen...

I have noticed this problem with a couple of discussions recently but eventually I was able to post but I had to close out my browser and go back in to do that. It was awkward because I could respond to some discussions but not other ones. I do not think people are blocking you as it may just be a glitch in the website. The message that I get when I try to respond is please include a response, even though I did have a lengthy response to it.

I dont think the members here can block any discussions of yours. I would contact mylot and tell them about the problem. And be prepared for them not to get back to you for a couple of days.LOL Good luck to you.

It sounds like me. I used to NOT allow "mature content" then I turn it on so it will allow ALL content. Now I am able to posts ALL the time. So just make sure you are over 18 and hit that button that says allow all mature content. If this doesnt work then I dont know. But yeah... I used to not be able to say things that werent in the mature area. So give it a shot and try again. You could just be getting a blocked thing like I had and couldnt say certain stuff!

Confused, you and me both ! I am not sure if it is the bandwidth allowed at myLot or simply time-outs occur that require signing in, again even if you think you were signed in. The copy/paste thing is obvious, once you reach 500 you are allowed this feature and when someone blocks you is also self-explanatory but I am with you on not understanding after taking so much tme on a particular post that when you do hit submit, it won't. Server problems probably, moreso the bandwidth and configuration tweaks that must be made is more likely the real problem. myLot will just have to be informedof these glitches so clients won't be so frustrated as I believe you and many others are ! sharing the light, erica

That is unfortunate. Maybe you are right and people are blocking you. However, I did not know there was even a blocking function on Mylot.. Could be....Did you say something to upset people??

same here i was very frustrated at times when that happens but i think thats only a problem with my net connection.

it has not happend to me till now but i will take care that it dosen't happen to me in future

I had the same problem with one response I did, and tried several times to post it, I use Opera as my browser, however when I changed to a different browser and tried to post the same response, I then saw a message saying that one of the words I was using was banned. It may be that you would have to try a different browser IE7 or FireFox to see that particular message.

i'm just new to myLot but i've already experience that. i've type my response then when you post it will not accept. it's frustrating. my effort is useless and much time is wasted.

Hi This prob may come due some tech. resion coz same thing is happened with me but i it is solved by my tech exe.
