I delete junk e-mail as quickly as I can. Sometimes I flag them as spam, but that takes a little more time.
For junk mail in regular e-mail, I sometimes take a bunch of it and use it for making craft paper. I wrote an article on how to do this for Associated Content. It is kind of fun to do and if you really want to try it, go to Associated Content and read my article called, Making Junk Mail Pay Off, by Jeanne Gibson.

Oop, I meant to say, regular mail in that last paragraph. Here is the AC address for the article I mentioned.

I almost instantly delete them when I see them. SPAM sure is a nuisance to people who value their emails. =/

I simply set a filter to delete the junk mails. Ooh! boy I hate these junk mails and feel that the people who purport these junk mails should be punished in some manner or the other.
Cheers!

With junk e-mails, I usually delete them right away. If I get a lot from the same source, I use the "opt-out" option to have them stop sending.
With "snail-mail" junk, I peruse the ones that seem interesting and toss the rest.

Delete the lot as quickly as possible. Junk mail is a pain in the rear end
