I've started this discussion because I am a thin guy an I want to know your opinion in this old batle: Fat vs Thin. What do you think it's better to be?

you are right.some girls are beautiful even if they are fat, but they dont realise that because they want to be thin so the boy would like them.

It is best to be healthy, you can be chubby and healthy and you can also be thin an healthy. I say as long as you are in good health, it doesn't matter.

To be honest, neither is healthy. The perfect weight to be is the healthy weight that's proportionate to your height. And it's more important to be fit than to be thin. I know a lot of thin people who eat junk food and don't exercise and are doing damage to their internal organs (heart disease, anyone?) because they aren't taking care of themselves. And I know heavier people who eat vegetables and lean meats, walk a lot and take care of their bodies. They might not look the part, but they are healthier. Of course, particularly in North America, this isn't the norm. N.Americans are getting fatter and more sedentary every year and it's going to take a major overhaul in our eating and exercise habits to turn the tide. (I lost 100 lbs 2 years ago, and am grateful for it every day). Taking care of both the inside and the outside of our bodies is the very best we can do for optimum health. And aesthetically we look better when we take good care of our bodies.

Both extremely fat or extremely thin can pose dangerous side effects and health problems, but being thin is normally better than being fat, people who have less than the average weight may be of better health, also they are more sociably accepted than fat people, anyway if you are not extremely thin and with a good over-all health this may be a plus not something you should worry about.

Honestly it really depends on the person. Being to thin is defiantly not a good thing but being to fat is not a good thing either. i am like meaty. i have alot of muscle but iam not real skinny. I would say it depends on your body make up.. Every body will have a different answer on this. Because if your too fat that means your not healthy and you dont want that!!

Well, it depends on what your state of mind is. If you live in a third world country where food is scarce, it is probably better to be fat. However, if you are speaking in terms of general health, there are lots of benefits to being on the lean side. I don't think it's good to be extreme either way... I think medium is perfect!
