Does rain make you feel depressed?

Rain at the right time is great. I just love it! By the right time, I mean not when I am out on a long run and the skies open then I am 5 miles from home. Believe me. Over the years that has happened a few times. Also, not when I am out on the highway making a long trip. Any other time is ok by me. I especially like going for a walk near the river after a rain..Everything smells so fresh!

I've been told that long term rain/drizzle/fog/overcast skies can make people sleepy and that's why there's so many Starbuck's Coffee places in the Pacific northwest. lol! I love a gentle spring rain, a roaring summer thunderstorm, a fall (what does it do in fall?) rain and a winter snow/ice storm. I want the weather to do something. I loathe the endless 90-100 degree days of nothing but heat and humidity we get in mid to late summer.

No. rain makes my day so comfortable and it makes like to just stay at home. It makes me so happy especially seeing my plants watered by rain. And raining brings back good memories of my childhood.

I live in Oregon and we love the rain. It keeps our state green. I will admit that after 40 days of rain in a row, we sometimes wish for a few hours of sunshine, but mostly we just put on our raincoats, grab our umbrellas, and go do anything we want to do.

I do like the rain,especially the smell of ozone.

I love the rain! I think it is beautiful and love to go walking in it. When I was a kid I would put on my bathing suit and run around outside in it. Its relaxing on a roof and thunderstorms are romantic!!
