Do you turn down your TV during Commercial Ads

I dont watch tv that much and when I do it when commercials come on I run around and do things.LOL So the commercials dont bother me.

Whenever add comes on TV, I just switch over to other channel. I do not like most of adds as it comes thousand times. Only add on nation interest or any related to humanity I watch.

I rarely watch TV. I choose what program or shows I like to watch. I dislike the shows shown locally. I find there's no sense in it...that's my opinion only. In between commercials, I get up and do something else.

I hate TV commercials a lot.The not only prolongs the time of any program but also are the causing the frustration among people.They are largely responsible for society status difference,misguiding them and bringing psyclogical problems as well.My usual behaviour with them is to change the channel and watch something else.

I usually have a book with me when I watch TV. So I would either watch the adverts if they are interesting, or read my book. If I am feeling enthusiastic, I would even get up to do some exercising or stretching. :P

same here. i end up flipping through a dozen channels before the show im watching comes back on. ive gotten pretty good at the timing too! lol

yeah your right watching commercials on tv is annoying.But you also have to understand this is where the tv network can earn money.The more the commercials the more is there income.But i know someone who likes commercials so much my nephew.She don't like television show but when its time for commercial she will run right away and watch it happily.I myself would switch channels when a commercial is playing but even how many times we will write to the management stopping there commercials it won't happen.It's there business to attract sponsors to gain income.

yes they tend to be louder that the actual progamme that we i am watching so i alway turn them down

I don't usuallt trn the tv down. I switch around between channels but I don't have many to choose from. Actually I only have like five or six channels. (No sattelite or cable) Sometimes though I think some of the commercials are kind of funny. Otherwise they don't annoy me too much unless they get played every time whatever show I'm watching takes a break.

I hadn't thought about it until I read your discussion but I too turn down the TV during the commercials as the sound seems to go higher when they come on! Some adverts though are pretty good though, we had a pretty good one on UK tv not so long ago for Honda - There was a making the noise of the car it was quite unique and a brilliant advert!

There was a time when I'd turn the tv off during commercials but know I just switch channels during commercials or get something from the refrigerator or in my room or even go to the toilet.

I don't turn off the TV during commercial breaks. I love watching TV commercial but If I don't like the commercial I usually switch it to the other channel.

It depends... If i am not bored actually then i will watch a few or else i will switch off to someother channels... But by bad time, i have ended up with commercials in all channels.. Lol

I can't stand commercials, I usually tape my shows and that way I can fast forward through the commercials. If I am actually watching the show when it is on and a commercial comes on, I will change the channel or put it on mute.

well what can I say some one has to pay for the free movies you watch and those add pay the bills there are a few i must say i don't mind watching over and over

i mute it and turn the radio up. i hate commercials and its not like we're not gonna eventually see them anyway plus there's no point in hearing them a thousand times.

Yes I do. I have never understood why the volume level changes. It is really loud when the adverts are on and then when the programme restarts it s so quiet! It really annoys me as most of the television I watch is in the evening when the kids are in bed and sometimes the adverts come on so loud it wakes them up.

My tv has a feature that makes it a little quieter during the commercials. It's called SMARTSOUND. It works ok. I still get tired of seeing the same commercials over and over, especially during a movie. I have been watching more and more tv shows on itunes. I wish I had a tivo, but I don't. I just try to ignore them by going to the bathroom or making a phone call. Some commercial breaks seem like they are almost 8 or 9 minutes long!
