SQL Server 2005 Service Broker

Is anyone out there using the Service Broker of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to build systems with service oriented architecture yet. This are is pretty new and a company I am working for is starting down this path. I'm interested in hearing how well it works. Is it easier to implement than systems not using messaging?
