I give up! I don't think I will start any more discussions

I don't get too many responses when I start a discussion, either. Some of mine don't have any responses, and those were the ones that I thought would, especially the jokes. It's not to say our topics are bad, other people must not have too much to say regarding what we have posted. Sometimes, it is just good to get something off our chest or put out there because it means something to us. It's hard to say what people feel like responding to on any given day. Keep trying.

Hi my friend, I too have problems thinking of topics to start a discussion. Look at some of my stupid topics, I look and laugh sometimes at them but I am trying to make a few buck so I still post them. Don't quit on us. What I find that hepls me is I have a lot of friends. I add alot of people and I have my email notification set up so when they all post a question it goes into my personal email address and I answer them that way and since a have a big friend list I get a lot of their questions. I hope you decide to keep going. I just got some flowers for you from the online florist, I hope they brighten your day! (smile now)

Starting discussions can be tough sometimes. First you have to come up with a topic and make sure you aren't breaking the rules, then you have search to make sure your topic hasn't been discussed already and hope the search works properly. Maybe you just need a break. Thats what I am doing. I probably won't be posting new discussions for awhile. I am just responding to others.

Oh come on now. Do you really feel this way? Seems you have been to my discussions many times. And you know I'm at yours every day also. Don't give up, And it's not required to start a discussion all the time. Try writing things down during the day that happen in ordinary things. Not the news or the like. Then when you sit at the puter read what's been written during the day & work from there. That;s how I do it and look at the discussions I come up with. I'll have none of this wehiny attitude. HAHA! Don't despair. It is St Patrick's weekend and a lot of people are probably preparing for the celebrations to-morrow. I find that Friday and Saturday aren't good nights for getting responses as people are usually out enjoying themselves. I will check out your other topics to-morrow as it is almost mid-night here and I need my beauty sleep. My husband has just joined myLot and I will also get him to repond to some of them. Have a good night's sleep and hopefully your will feel much better to-morrow. I think we all feel this way at times. xxx

I find it very hard to start discussions too. I just keep on trying. The most I've ever gotton was around 20,I think. Most of mine get two to five responses. I hope you don't give up I know it can be frustraiting at times.

You just hit a slump. It is hard to think up something that others might find interesting or worthwhile and at the same time be new and refreshing! Jot down ideas when you read the paper or read online news or read a magazine. If you don't think of anything for awhile...so what. It will come to you again later.
