I have a regular full time job..I spend many hours in front of the computer throughout the day..so I can't make mylot my full time job..what about you?
I have missed my friends at mylot so I decided to come back every evening a short while every day even though my eyes are so very tired already from looking at the screen

well..even those who make lots must spend many hours and dividing it up I am sure it's way below minimum wage;)

Aww be careful of your eyes. Make sure you give them breaks. It is hard looking at a screen all day and then coming home to another. Don't hurt yourself just to come here.
That said we like you coming here. :)
I couldn't make this my full time job if I wanted to. Too many other things in my life.
Take care

this is certainly not my full time job... i won't be able to survive if i have to depend on the earning from mylot alone... i am in the same situation like you... i don't have much time to spend here as i am also working part time... so i only spend like one hour here everyday and i treat the earning as the bonus...

Actually I think you will make more then a penny..I don't know, however, how much money you make per post. .I don't think anyone does.

I'm new here, but from what I've seen so far, I doubt anyone could make a living at this! It's okay for a little extra pocket change. I love message boards and was posting on them all the time for free, so I figured why not make some pennies while posting. As for way to make money online, I've found a few. I'm a SAHM with a autoimmune disease, so working outside my home is not a option for me. Many work-at-home opportunities are a scam. It took me awhile, but I've finally figured out how to make money online. I'm far from getting rich. I only make enough to supplement my husbands income (about as much as a part time job) but it's not enough to live on.

hi. i am glad you decided to drop by and join. i wanna say hello to you and welcome to mylot. hope you have a fine fun day here.
it's nice to know that you help out your husband by earning online. you are right. you can never get rich here when it comes to money... but you can get rich when it comes to friends and knowledge. hehe. i have started here 7 months ago and i am still having fun. some of the earnings i got here i invested in some of my trusted sites. and the money i get from mylot had been growing there. and i am happy being here, meeting new people like you!

I have only been trying to make $ for a little while, but I have a full time job, so after cooking, getting the kids ready for bed I only have a bit to do anything. If you have that opportunity to be on the computer for fulltime then I say go for it and I wish you all the luck in the world.

I appreciate that you make the effort to come back to myLot every evening to say Hi! I noticed you were back yesterday or the day before yesterday. It was quite a long time I did not receive mails from myLot's friends.
Have a good night, little franciscan.

No, like most members this is a hobby for me and I have full time employment. It would be extremely difficult for anyone to make a full time occupation out of Mylot. I usually content myself with earning the minimum payout level, although I actually fell short of it last month.

I call Mylot an interest for me, where I can post and keep any payment I recieve in Paypal until I reach a certain amount of money then I can work towards buying myself something special, like a treat, I have just bought myself my portable DVD player that I couldn't afford to buy myself for Christmas so I made it my goal to strive for and it feels wonderful when you have enough to get it....

I am not able to make it my full time job either due to having a full time job with a company. I am only able to come online in the evenings or weekends when I do not have any plans made. My bowling league on friday evenings is almost over so I may be spending more time on here. This is more of a part time job for me.

I hear ya..kevin..how is the situation with the bowling league..have your friends come around? I remember in another post you mentioned they thought you were purposely losing or something like that.

I can't imagine anyone making a living from posting at myLot. Several times I have figured out that most people spend several minutes per post so even if they did 20 posts in an hour, that would be less than 50 cents an hour they were earning. Multiply that by 8 hours and you can see that you could only make a living from it if you ate a couple of Big Macs a day and lived under a bridge.
True, some people answer posts with yes or no answers, but I consider these people cheaters so they really can't be counted. (Even if they were, they would probably only make about 70 cents an hour because it takes time to select the discussion, respond to it, add tags, and wait for it to post.)

That is too funny..I don't like big macs..now a couple cheeseburgers might suffice;)
I think that its nice though..that there is some kind of incentive added to posting our messages here.

i dont think anyone could survive on mylot its impossible mylot only gives around .5-1 cents per post so u would have to make atleast 2,000 posts a day just to make 20 dollars its very hard to see someone living off nthe money they make on mylot

As much as I wanted to make online earning like mylot a full time job, much is to be desired when it comes to earning. Like you, it's difficult not to log in in the midst of so many activities and not to communicate with friends we have made since we joined. It has reached a point as if they became real life friends. This makes mylotting enjoyable.

I post throughout the day since I am working all day online. But I certainly don´t consider it to be my full-time job! I´m almost to 400 posts and I haven´t even reached $10 yet (although I expect to see that magic number there tomorrow morning!). So it would be pretty hard to earn even a half-decent amount here. I mix it up between this and other things online to earn.

I use to hit more then $10..I will see how long it takes me to hit $10 now that I must focus more on my work..I love this site though..and it doesnt matter how much I make here..it's nice though..to make something

I just think that would be impossible for anyone.
How could anyone earn enough to make a living on here?
Mylot is a good place to earn some extra money and meet some interesting people, but there are not enough hours in the day to make a living from it.

I agree with you..I was curious, though, as to how many actually spent the whole day here typing away. I use to sneak in between my job hours..but then felt I was burning the candle at both ends..
I miss out alot during the day..but I decided I will try to type in the evening.
