Yes, it's almost that time of year again . . . Easter time! Our children are still small but we let them paint 2 dozen eggs and do a little egg hunt! We don't play Easter bunny, but they do receive Easter baskets with goodies, just not candy goodies. I like to put useful items in their baskets and cute toys! We remind them that Easter is about Jesus not the Easter bunny, so we have a dinner focused on Jesus after the egg hunt! How do you celebrate Easter!

We really have fun on easter day ,not only children but also adults.Different radiostations organize an activity to seek eggs that they hide all over the island. While we ride in our car we wait for the commentators to give us hint were the an egg is situated so we can go to that place and find it.And if someone finds an egg you get to open it and see what your price is and later you can claim it.There'e allots of egg hidden on the islands so we all have chances to get an egg.You can get as many eggs as you want. The activity starts 1 pm and ends till 5 or 6 pm.The last egg is the golden egg,the price that you can get from that egg can be $5000 or more. It's fun to see how many people rush with their car to find eggs.

I love the Easter holiday! We usually color eggs on Friday with my girls and my grandson. The Easter basket tradition here includes not only some candy, but also some little trinkets, toys, or something else. On Easter morning we have an egg hunt, but we use the plastic eggs (the kind that pull in half) and stick a piece of wrapped candy, or something little, inside of it. The kids hunt with their baskets, and when they're done they hide the eggs for us adults to find. When the kids hide them for us, somebody always forgets where all of them have been hidden. One year we didn't find them all and after months of trying to find one stinking egg (P.U!!!!!!!!) we decided to do the hunts with the plastic ones. Works good because we can hide them the night before all throughout the house. We don't hide them outside because most of the time there's snow still to contend with. We usually have a nice family meal after egg hunting.
