I think it starts with a D, but i can't remember. Its diced tomatoes and spices that you usually get on your plate of lettuce at a Mexican Restaraunt. What is that stuff called and does anyone know how to make it? I like to mix that with my lettuce, and the sour cream and eat it like a salad. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

It is Pico De Gallo. Raw tomatoes diced, raw chilies usually serrano or jalapeno, onion, lime juice, salt & sometimes cilantro. Hope this helps.

Thanks! But how do I find a recipe for it so that I know how much of what to put in it? I want to make a bowl of it so that all my family can have some with a dinner I am planning. Any ideas?

All I can think of is pico deguyo(can't remember how to spell it) or Dotel.

Yeah, that's it! That's what it's called. I don't know how to spell it either. But what goes in it? How do you make it? I like that stuff. I am pretty sure it has some green chiles in it because it's kind of hot, but it tastes yummy!!

Alaria, below seems to know the ingredients. I like it too. Some restuarants make it better than others, but it is always good!
