Do you sometimes feel that all your time is consumed in bringing up the kids? tutoring, etc. that you have no time for yourself anymore. I always do. that's why I had my sigh of relief and summer's started..

As an SAHM I often feel that way, good thing is that my son is always taking a nap during the afternoon, only then can I relax. Sometimes when I log in to myLot I let him watch his favorite videos but there are times that he also wants me to watch with him. He's only 2 years old so he's very attached to me, I hope that once he starts pre-school he will learn to be slightly independent. I'm not babying him, in fact I'm teaching him how to wash his hands, keep his toys in the cabinet, he even likes it when I let him dress-up by himself.

Dear thebestmom, i have quite a different opinion regarding this matter. I am a working mother and had always been busy. I havent got much time to spend with the kids. Recently, while waiting for the new maid to arrived, i was not working for two weeks, and to be honest... it was not easy to stay at home and nourish them well... but it was one of the best moment in my life... when the boy was so clingy onto me, when i was able to cook a decent meal for lunch and dinner... able to send and fetch my daughter from school.. dear God.. I love that feeling... feeling of needed by everyone. And i would like to salute to all those fulltime housewives for doing a good job in keeping the family together... all of you are a superwomen

I feel like that all the time. Even right now I'm trying to type this with my toddler playing with my hands., It's very difficult. I'm also a full time mum. My oldest child is at school so that's ok but my youngest isn't 2 yet. He is very demanding. Even when the kids have gone to bed, I'm usually so tired that I go up myself. But even if I don't go up at the same time, there still seems to be so much to do which I haven't been able to do during the day because of running around after the kids! The kids are usually really good thoug and they do help out. The oldest does loads more than I would expect of other kids his age but the baby can be a pain. Sometimes I'll put the telly on just to shut him up so I can have 5 minutes for a cup of tea!

Yes I sometimes feel very lost as well. I am so glad that summer is approaching because I teach pre-k and I don't work in the summer. I do enjoy hanging out at the pool with my children. They love to swim and last summer was the first summer I got to enjoy reading a book while they swimmed. I finely got to the pont were they can all swim on their own! Anyways,I know about the whole time for yourself thing. It's really sad when you look forward to food shopping because you'll be by yourself! lol I hate the whole night routine with homework, dinner and baths!
