I am a Filipino living here in the Philippines. I have published some books in the internet and I hope to publish more which I hope will eventually be helping our country as the circulation of the books are worldwide and they are good until the end of the world. My website for the books are

Election is coming so soon, so I think one way of helping our country is practicing our rights that is to vote wisely. =) I hope this one helps!

The problem is most if not all of those vying for seats in the government are corrupt, immoral. Not to mention the ignorance of the majority of voters who are selling their votes to feed their family for the entire duration of the campaign period. If a good man with no money and popularity runs for the election,he/she will likely to lose. Plus there is no such thing as honest election anymore. It's really a very sad scenario. I guess, the best thing to do is to educate the Filipino masses, peaceful mass demonstrations, boycott the election.....

Let us be devoted to our work and be supportive of the government. We can see that the administration is doing good in its efforts to get the economy up. It will do better in those efforts if we give our support.
I am sold to the idea of adopting a parliamentary form of government. The elections at the national level shall be done away with. As I think as to how much money they use to finance their campaign versus the gains that the winners get as compensation when they win, I figured that there is no point of recovery at all. So those people must be up to something else. This is the reason why those countries which have already adopted the parliamentary form are very progressive compared to our Philippines. Let us therefore, all do our share to push for a parliamentary form of government and cut drastically the problems involving graft and corruption.

I totally agree with you there. We tend to ignore the laws because they are not implemented as sharp as they should be unlike in other places. But let's not wait for the police or the government to stricken up. Let's initiate reform by being more disciplined and respect our laws.

I would definitely prefer to work here than abroad. However, if i have the opportunity to work outside the country, maybe i'd grab it but only to save money fast. But after that i'd still go back and work here. SERVE YOUR OWN!;p

That's good. I am now living here in the US. I guess in my little way, I can help the country by being a good person, because no matter what I do, wherever I go, I am carrying the face and blood of a filipino.

Just become a peaceful law-abiding Filipino citizen, vote wisely, and do whatever part you can do for the welfare particularly of your community and your country in general.
