Whats the difference between a friend and an associate?

I've said the phrase, we're not friends, just asociates when sometimes it turns out the associates are more loyal than your "true friends". How do you define friend and associate?

I have counted the customers of Mylot, 77531 past saturday were today we are 79522, we are many, but not all write second me, nik them not memory but the avatar are often the usuals. According to you????
