Okay, I'm one of those people that is always looking for shortcuts because I work full time and have a very busy life... that being said, my favorite marinate for meat is Italian dressing! I just buy a bottle of it and put it in a ziploc bag, then throw in my meat and let it sit for an hour! When I cook my meat, it is always very, very tasty and tender. I've used it on chicken, pork and steak. I don't cook fish (cause I don't like it!), so I have no idea if it will work on that. But you should try it on your chicken and pork! It's delicious!

I usually do things really simple. I like lemon or orange juice with a bit of honey on my chicken. I usually use italian salad dressing on my pork chops or beef roasts.
I also have become quite a fan of the Lawry 10 min. marindes. They have all kinds of flavors that I could never match.

Pork: go greek. lemon, oregano, garlic and black pepper. It never fails.
Fish: Lime juice, crushed corriander seeds, Cumin, garlic. Great with Salmon
Chicken:Same for pork and fish or: Soy sauce, sugar, garlic, chilies.
Alwaysuse your nose. Smell the bowl, smell the spice, smell the bowl. If they are not repulsive - they work.
Bon Apetite!

once in awhile I make one
usually I chop the meat with veggies and cook it in a wok
anyway, a good marinade is:
chipotle sauce
soy sauce
paprika
honey
black pepper
for ribs I make a different one
get hot, salty, sweet, spicy in there, thats the key to it
