When you're driving do you ever encounter those that drive slow or don't pay attention on the road because they are using their cell phones while driving? I remember one time I was in front of the car because we were about to exit to the right. This person in front of me did not move over a minute and I'm honking my horn yelling at him to hurry up. And he had the nerve to say he was on an important phone call. I kept honking and honking until he had to move out! Good thing the police was there and I went to complain. The police seen what happened and gave the guy the ticket! Do you have stories like this?

Well i witnessed a crash.. and lo and behold the person who caused the accident was on the phone. I'm against people using them while driving, it causes a lot of accidents. I always encourage people to pull over or at least get one of those hands free things.

There have been a lot of accidents, some fatal because people use cell phones while driving, it is an offence in most countries, yet most drivers are careless.

It is very annoying and I also honk my horn if someone is driving well under the speed limit because they are using their cell phones. I get very mad easily as well. They should know already that it is illegal to drive while they talk on their cell phones. Those who have a cell phone with them should pull over to the side and talk so that they are not holding up traffic.

Yes, I agree that inconsiderate people like these are very annoying. They should at least have pulled over to the side. Or if they really insist on talking on the phone while driving, they should have used a handsfree attachment or earphone.

It is illegal in the UK to drive and use a mobile phone. The number of fatalities caused by idiots yapping on their phones instead of concentrating on driving has soared as has the number of accidents caused.

I think it's a big annoyance, but especially when drivers just aren't paying attention. Some drivers can pay attention while on the phone, but so many are just clueless about what's going on around them.

I think some peoples driving is bad enough just the way it is and a lot of those people don't need to be on a cell phone to compound the problem. There's been lots of times I've been behind somebody who was on the phone and they were all over the road or didn't go when the light turned green.

There were a lot of accident happened due to driving while using their cellfone. I've encountered one driving a motorcycle and texting at the same time. my husband honked him and seems he "came back to earth" after realizing that he's in the middle of the street and there were lots of vehicle lining up behind him. It's very annoying!

Isn't it illegal to use mobile phones when driving? And even if it isn't illegal here in the Philippines yet I think people shouldn't do it for their safety.

ppl who use their cell while driving are posing a potential danger to him/herself, pedestrians and other drivers especially those on motorbikes. most ppl are not excellent in multi-tasking. its hardly possible to drive and talk over the phone at the same time without some kinda mistake of any sort, even slowing the traffic counts. I have come across so many drivers who do that and it really pisses me off. how can u hold ur cell and drive at the same time, not to mention thinking of what to say to the other party.
if the call is really urgent, perhaps invest in a handsfree. that will cost less than getting yourself or anyone else into trouble. waste of money, time and worse of all life! drive safe :)

I see these people on the phone holding up traffic while they are waiting to turn or driving. often where I live. It's does'nt matter if they are making a left or right turn.
One time in a nearby city, my brother and i were going someplace.I saw this huge line of cars waiting to turn. The car at thefront of the line could of turned several times if they were not on the phone!. I think the line of cars was about 50-60 cars so it wss long wait due to them on the phone.
I often wish that driving on the phone was against the law or if your are caught pay a very huge fine for putting everyone around you at risk for youe stupid call!

Here in the Philippines- the text capital of the world- there had ben lots and lots of text related accidents due to those irresponsible texters. They are too hard headed and would risk texting while driving not realizing that it could be a reason they harm other people's lives.
