i think his mom is a filipina, so that makes him a filipino in some ways.. hahaha...
some people really have a diverse culture. Filipino's are a mixture of sapanish, american, japanese decent in the past so maybe that will explain BATISTA's diverse blood... :))

I know for a fact, because the words came of of Batista's mouth when he visited here just last year. I don't know where Joanna got her answer from, and that I am definitely sure about his roots!
The best way to know it, is try googling his name. The best would be try his real name that I've provided above and go see for yourself.

now im getting more confused, raijin said dave's dad is a filipino, while on the other hand you said dave's mom is a filipino. but what you said is true filipino are a mixture of a lot of blood thats why we are all good looking LOL. thanks for the response.

He has a filipino blood, a third part of it. He's half-filipino because his father is a natural-born filipino, and his mother is a half-greek, half-american.
He already proved it to us, when he visited us, here in the philippines while promoting the SMACKDOWN brand of WWE. And he has a proof in it, with a filipino flag tattooed on his left shoulder together with the greek national flag.

if he is a filipino well that would be so cool. but my friend who is at new york now was shock when i told him that dave is a filipino. he was shock because at the US dave never mentioned he is a filipino. it is said in the magazine there that dave's exwife is a filipina but he is not a filipino. im really confused. but anyways thanks for the response.

Hi roniroxas...!I believe Dave Batista is actually Dave Bautista, from my short research i found that Batista father is a tall Filipino about 6'2" & his mother is Greek who stood at 5'10". His parents met in a beach in the Philippines got married outside of the Philippines they migrated to the US in Washington, before Batista was not Batista but Leviathan a bald,happy,slow moving,big guy with no carisma to the fans, later given a 2nd chance by McMahon as Batista of the Evolution & thats it... thanks for reading...!

dave 'the animal' batista is half-greek and half-filipino. he said it once during an interview and he even showed a greece and philippine flag tattooed on his arm

Dave Bautista, that is his real last name, is half-Filipino and half-Greek. his mother is Greek while his dad is from the Philippines. As a matter of fact, last November 2007, the Smack Down Family had their tour here in the Philippines, and of course, all lights shone on Batista, The Animal. If you want a proof of him being a Filipino, look at his left arm. Flags of both Greece and the Philippines intertwined together. Batista has Filipino blood, and we all love him. "Come on!"

when i saw him first at smack down i love him already regardless if what nationality he has. if a tattoo of filipino flag is a proof of being a filipino then it is not much of a proof. i can do that, i can have an american tattoo and say im an american. well what ever you are right we all love him. thanks for the response.
