I came across an article that says that people who cry often are longer lived than those who don't. It also says that this is the reason why women have higher longevity than men. Also recent studies show taht tears may be the way our body ejects toxic substances. Seems true!!
I cry out when i am emotionally hurt or someone close to me is hurt. What about you??
Now are you one of those go to the arms of tears often to lessen your sorrow or try out to solve the problems without sheding a drop of tear.

i am a cry baby. there's no doubt about that. when hurt or depressed, the best way to lessen my burden is to cry out every single pain from my body. and honestly, i feel better after crying.
funny... but i even cry when watching sobby films. my heart gets easily touched and well, i am not embarrassed to cry even when just watching movies! i am just being me!

Crying is one effective way for us to relieve ourselves from depression. Psychology books say that people who don't express their grief by means of shedding tears are usual suppressing the tension they have received from many sources. This kind of emotional suppress may accumulate harmful substances dispatched from the adrenaline glands in our body. Thus serious illness like heart disease, or even cancer may take shape. I think this is why people don't cry when they are sad tend to have shorter life spans.

I think that if you express your emotions more than you are likely to live longer as your body won't suffer from bottling up all these feelings inside.
However crying isn't the only way to do this.
What is the link to the article? I think that releasing your toxins from crying isn't true.

I found that releasing toxic substances through your tears was in a news paper article so can't publish it here.
Anyways thanks

Yes I cry very often to excrete all my negative emotions I have. In crying I find comfort and solace as not to give myself more problem and have a goodnight sleep. If I don't cry I tend to think about all the problems and start to loose myself in shape.
