Do I stay ???

Ok here is the deal.. I live in West Midlands, whilst my partner whom i met through the internet 1 yr ago lives in Norfolk. I have 2 children who see their father every wkend. My dilema is my partner and I got engaged in November, and whilst I was totally shocked, it was incredible now we have to sort out who is moving, My family are around me and the boys father is here and I have a full-time job and own my own home, but the area in which I live offers no good living or schooling for my children, but if I moved to my partner the children and myself would have a fresher healthier life with good schooling and a much more happier out look on life. My parnter is a policeman if he comes here I will be worried about the crime we get here, in his home town there is nothing like the crime we get here...what shall I do?? I'm very confussed can someone please give advice on how to try and uproot my family??
