I hope you all had a very good day amd that you did more exciting things than i did. All i did was sit in all day and play with my computer games, which i am no good at. I dont drink or smoke so going out didnt appeal to me. but i assure you that i cannot wait until i go to ireland next week because not only is it a beautiful country and a country that i happen to be born in but it is a smoking ban country, i can go into a bar and not come home smelling like a cigarette

I had a good time watching the parade in Chicago. I must admit I watched it on t.v., and I hope all the people in it had good times after enduring that cold. I heard the one in New York was even colder.
You are so lucky to be going to Ireland. I went last summer for the first time, and loved those football-size triple berry muffins. I think the coffee shop was called Insomnia. I had a lot of excellent food and drink in Ireland, plus some great sightseeing, but by far the best part of the trip was meeting some fine people.

Unfortunately i didnt do much as my partner isnt feeling that great at the moment so we just gathered a few friends round for a drink and played a few competetive computer games which ended up being a really good night. I agree with you about going to a pub. I would much rather have a drink at home instead of my hair smelling like i have been in a furnace. We only have to wait till july i guess and we can go out and enjoy ourselves without it upsetting our throats and chest
