Do You Like to Cook?

I like to cook when I have time to do it. But that does not seem to be very often. Our lives seem to be way to busy for us to get done what we want in life. The easier the recipe to make the better it is for me. Lots of frozen meat and vegetables on our table during the week. Just no time to do anything different. We cook on the grill on the weekends and I love that. Hubby does cooking then and hardly any dirty dishes. Some day maybe will be able to cook some fantastic meals for my husband when I have the time to do so. What about you?

Yes friend, I like cooking very much,
I cook for my husband and my kids, and as per his saying I am a great cook. I don't know whether you will be agree with me or but I think women can cook better then men. We got this genes from our mothers. What do you say?

I really enjoy cooking. There are so many great things about making your own food. It's more economical, it's more diet friendly...less hidden fats, and I can season everything the way I like it!
I work a full time job though so I have to be creative about finding time to cook. As above posters mentiond, I have a crock pot, and I LOVE it. There is something so cozy about coming home to a home cooked meal. I also use those Reynolds slow cooker liners so that helps to lessen the clean up, which is also awesome.
I usually make a lot of "one pot" meals....for example, stirfrys, fried rice, lasagne (Italian and mexican versions), soups, pasta....Sometimes it takes some planning, but I think it's really worth it.

Yes very true that you can cook diet friendly if cook for yourself. We hardley ever go out to eat even when we go on vacation. We get a room with a kitchen so can cook some of the meals.

I used to enjoy cooking special dinners for my family but things have been extremely busy for us lately. With small children I still cook fresh veggies and meats for them, mostly organic products. I made a lot of casseroles and freeze them for later, this helps out a lot.

Yes it is very hard if you are busy and don't have time to cook. Casseroles frozen is a very good idea, I did that when I left and my husband was home alone. Worked great for him.

I LOVE to cook. I have trouble finding new recipes though. I dont like to eat stuff I cant pronounce. LOL
"Just no time to do anything different." Invest in a crock pot. Every since I got mine for Christmas I've had numerous new meals pop up. I love it!

yes the crock pot is great to have and make meals out of. I bought a cookbook that has fast and easy ideas in it to do in crockpot.

Truthfully, I don't. I like to eat and would love it if someone else did the cooking. It usually falls to me though and like you, if I have time I will whip up something very nice. If it were up to me I'd probably just have a sandwich most nights, but with growing kids, I need to fill them up with good things.

I like to cook, too, and like you, not very often. My mom usually does the cooking, but when I am in the mood or no one else can do it, I pitch in and cook something. I like grilled foods, I do not like oily foods much.

I really like to cook but my only problem is that I'm really slow. To do a recipe, it takes me like twice time the normal time... but at least it's always good!
